Part 14

Woojin's P.O.V

It was 8:30 when I woke up. Rising from my bed, I picked up my phone that was on the floor. "where is it?" I mumbled as I can't seem to find it. Luckily, I heard it vibrating, along with my ring tone. The call ended before I was able to answer it, I frowned.

"let me call again," I told myself as I swiped the screen to unlock my phone. My other eye was still closed due to lack of sleep. As soon as I found out who the caller was, I immediately dialed back.

"He-"

"Woojin-ahhhh!"

"what?! what's wrong?!"

"..."

"minji?"

"nothing, I forgot what was I suppose to tell you hahaha"

"oh... do you have any plans today?"

"why? you're taking me on a date?"

"n-no! it's not like that..."

"hahaha, I'm just kidding, woojin"

"so?"

"Yup, I'm free today. what time?"

"after lunch"

"Okay! bye!"

"bye"

[call ended]

Sighing, I rose from my bed and looked at the mirror.

Boy, I look terrible.

I took a shower and changed my clothes. I looked at the wall clock and I still have 3 hours to go. It's not like I'm in a hurry lol. I went downstairs when I heard my grandma calling me.

"Woojin, where are you going today?" She asked.

"Uhm, I have a... umm" gulping, I looked around and tried to say something. She was anticipating whether I was going to say it or not.

"Where?"

"Grandma, I'm going to hang out with a friend" I bluntly said.

"who?" she asked.

"..."

"Just kidding! Okay then, go wherever you want, but be back before 7"

"thanks" I smiled and went upstairs to finish what I was going to do.

Come to think of it, Minji and I are really close now, she sometimes helps me during my studies when I don't get the topic, especially math.

Oh right, I haven't studied a single thing for the upcoming exams! My my, what made me so distracted for a while?

Once I was done organizing my room, I looked at the mirror one last time and smiled.

I wanna hit myself.

Shaking my head, I grabbed my bag and went outside to meet Minji.

Surprisingly, she was already outside waiting at the bench near the tree. She was staring at the passing people quietly. I chuckled and thought how cute she was.

At the meantime, she turned her head around and saw me walking towards her. She smiled and waved her hand, gesturing me to come closer.

"Woojin! Over here!" she yelled.

I nodded my head and smiled as I went near. That's when I noticed that she was carrying a box wrapped with a wrapper on it. Sorry, I can't explain it.
