Meeting

Naira is a very happy-go-lucky girl. She loves to tease her siblings, friends etc. She has an elder brother, Arjun and younger sister Kavya. Arjun is an interior designer and works for a company. Kavya is studying Btech 2nd yr. Naira is a fashion designer, 24 yrs old. Kavya is 19yrs old and Arjun is 27 yrs old.

That day is Naira's cousin's wedding. They drove to the resort and enjoyed the wedding. "Finally! You're married Kaj!" Naira hugged her sister Kajal. "I'm so happy for you!!!"

"I know." Kajal smiled, with happy tears. "No crying Kaj!" Kavya crossed her arms. "If you're done with the melodrama, shall we go inside?" Arjun rolled his eyes, knowing these melodramatic girls. "Arjun!" Naira and Kavya kept a poker face. "What? That's the fact!" Arjun said, moving back. "You're finished today!" Naira screamed, running after him, followed by Kavya. Finally, they caught him in a room. Kavya bolted the door. Naira crossed her arms, staring at Arjun. "No!!!!" He yelled. "No, you can't escape!" Kavya winked. Naira smirked. They caught his ears. "Say sorry!" They demanded. "Okay, sorry!" Arjun said, reluctantly. "Not like this my dear brother. Say sorry catching your ears!" Kavya demanded. "Okay sorry." Arjun kept a puppy face and caught his ears. "WE LOVE YOU ARJUN!!!" They screamed, throwing their hands around him and hugging him tight. "That's like my sisters!" Arjun winked. "I love you too my dear little munchkins."

Kavya opened the door and they stepped out of the room, to find Arjun's best friend, Varun. He is a choreographer as well as a software engineer, working for Deloitte. "Varun?" Kavya widened her eyes, jaw dropping. "Kavya!!!" Varun hugged her. "Naira! Hey!"

"Hey Varun! What's up dude!" Arjun hugged him. Naira was staring at him. He wore a white t-shirt, white jeans, black boots, his signature spectacles and a white blazer. She was flabbergasted on seeing him.

She always had a crush on him. He is a man to look out for.

"Did you guys eat?" Varun asked. "I'm not hungry. You guys carry on!" Kavya ran from there. "Umm... You guys carry on. Shruti is calling." Arjun took his phone out, attending the call. Shruti is his fiancee. They got engaged a couple of months back. "Naira, did you eat? If not join me."

Naira widened her eyes in disbelief. Of course she will. It's her crush who's calling her to lunch. "Naira?" Varun waved in front of her. "Yeah Varun. Come." They finally left for lunch.

After some awkward silence, Varun started. "Why are you so shy?"

"Me?"

"Yeah. You. Who else?" He shrugged. "No. I mean, I am just focusing on eating." She said, eating her piece of cake. "I can see everything Naira. You're hiding something from me." He said. She rolled her eyes, "shut up and just eat. Yeah, what new music video did you choreograph?"

"Now you're the Naira I know!" He winked. "You don't know me that we'll Varun." She chuckled. "Okay, so I choreographed a new music video of this actor called Diljit Dosanjh. The Punjabi singer." He said. "Great. I launched my new kids collection called 'Tiny Twinkles'" she said. "Are you planning for a fashion show then?" He asked. "Yes of course I am." She said. "When is it?" He asked. "On the 17th." She said. "Am I invited?" He asked, walking to the Pani Puri section. "Yeah. You are. You have to help me with the backstage." She said, grabbing a small bowl for Pani Puri.

Pani Puri is an Indian Street food found in every state of India. There is a small fried ball called Puri and there is spiced water to go with it. Indians go crazy for it. "Competition?" He asked. "Go for it!" She winked.

After sometime, Abhignya, Naira's best friend, walked to them. "Hey Nai!" She cheered. "We're having a competition. I'm gonna win this." Naira said, mouth full of Pani Puri. "I think I am winning."

Just then, Varun gave a smooch on her lips. "Deserves you." He winked, running from there. Everyone were shocked. Naira is speechless. "What just happened!" Abhignya exclaimed. Kavya and Arjun walked to her along with the bride's sister Dhatri. "What's the matter Abhi?" Arjun asked. " Varun gave a smooch on Naira's lips and she's not moving."

"That rascal!" Arjun laughed. "Arjun you're laughing?" Dhatri saw him seriously. "Our sister is kissed by someone on her lips. It's your best friend Arjun and you're laughing?"

"I know why Arjun's laughing." Kavya chuckled and whispered something in Dhatri's ear. "Really?" Dhatri shouted. Kavya gave a wide grin, nodding. "That's amazing!" Dhatri squealed. "What's amazing?" Naira finally spoke. "You'll know!" They all shouted, running from there.

After sometime, the girls had a nightout before the bride goes away to her in-laws house. "Kaj, I'll style you for your first night." Kiara said. "No Kiara. Waste of time. Her husband will remove all her clothes on that day." Kajal's best friend, Nishka winked. Everyone widened their eyes, freezing at a view.

It's Arjun, Varun and Kajal's husband Siddharth. "You're right Nishka." Siddharth winked, making Kajal blush more.

"So Mrs. Varun, what's the matter? Why are you so silent?" Abhignya winked before realising. Naira shook her head fast, running from there. Varun is shocked seeing her reaction. He ran behind her. "Stop!" He shouted. "Catch me if you can!"

"Naira!"

"Come come!"

Finally, "caught you!"

Slowly, Varun pinned Naira to a wall. "Mrs. Varun, huh?" He winked. She shook her head. She's blushing pink. "If no, why are you blushing?" He whispered. "I-I don't k-know!" She said trying hard to stare into his eyes. He gently pushed his lips on to hers and started kissing, circling his arms around her waist. She kissed back, circling her arms around his neck.

After some kissing, they finally parted, looking into each other's eyes for sometime. "I wanted to say something to you." He said. She nodded. "I love you." He said. She blushed. "You know what, I had a huge crush on you since I met you in Dhatri's wedding. But I was afraid to tell away my feelings to you. I love you too." She said. They again started kissing.

"Ahem, ahem!" They heard someone cough. "Kavya! I knew it! You didn't believe me!" Meghna, Kavya's best friend said. Kavya is staring at them with wide eyes and shock in her face. Varun and Naira are shocked as well. "Guys, this is too wrong to interrupt someone's privacy, especially when they're making out!" Varun said. "We love you!!!" Kavya and Meghna yelled, running to them and pulling them into a hug.

Meghna walked into the girls room, screaming. "Naira and Varun kissed! Twice!" She announced.

"What?"

"No way!"

"I'm so happy for them!"

"Congratulations to the new couple on board. Hope their relation lasts long!"

These were the reactions in the room. Most of all Arjun was the most happiest of all. His elder sister has found love.

True love.

"Wanna go out with me tomorrow? We'll grab some breakfast." Varun asked. Naira nodded. "Yes."

I know my little sis is having a major déjà-vu here. kavyamoolya yes? 😉 I know that! Shhh! Don't reveal it! 😋

Okay so Damaris will be coming in a chapter which is very crucial. Mare, I'll be exaggerating some incidents. You know them 😂. But yeah, you'll love this book. damarismillerfanfic
