Confrontation

Next day,

Naira is sobbing alone in her room. Kavya saw that and ran to her. "Nairu?"

"Taffy." She saw her wiping her tears. "Why were you crying?" Kavya widened her eyes. "Because of that girl?"

Naira slowly nodded. Arjun came inside. "Arjun, she's crying because of her again." Kavya complained, showing her finger to Naira. Arjun saw her seriously. "Arjun?" Naira said and he slapped her so hard. Kavya widened her eyes. Akshitha saw that and ran into the room. "Arjun, what did you do?"

Naira started crying loudly. Arjun hugged her and she cried into his chest. "I-I'm so sorry Arjun. I shouldn't have done like that." Naira said, in between sobs. "Wait, what are you talking about?" Akshitha got confused. "Arjun knew about the sex thing." Kavya said. Akshitha widened her eyes. "You had sex with Varun?"

Naira slowly nodded. "Then when I asked you the reason, you lied to me?" Kavya asked. "I saw Varun there. So I lied to you." Naira softly said. "What? Me?" Varun entered. "Varun..." Kavya started. Naira closed her mouth, shaking her head quickly. Varun cocked his eyebrow, seeing her with a concern. "What's the matter?"

He gently took her into his arms and she silently sobbed into his. "We heard Abhignya talking bad about Nairu and she even said that she wanted to break up with her because she hates her." Akshitha explained. "Really?" Varun asked. Akshitha nodded. Varun tensed up suddenly and his phone buzzed. "Excuse me, I have to take this call."

He went away from there, leaving everyone startled.

"He was not like this before." Kavya whispered. "He always put Nairu in the front and others at the back. She was his first priority. What happened now?"

Kavya is flabbergasted. Naira is gutted and Akshitha is appalled. Arjun is outraged. "Why is he behaving like this? I mean from the childhood he always put us as the first priority. I know. What happened now?"

"Maybe we're overthinking guys." Akshitha said. Naira started crying louder this time. Abhignya passed by, heard this cry and stormed into the room. "Naira? Why are you crying?"

She hugged her quickly and started shaking her. Kavya and Arjun are vexed. Akshitha is irked. "I hate her." Kavya whispered to Arjun. "I hate her too." He whispered back.

Of course they couldn't bear the person behind their sister's pain and Akshitha couldn't bear her best friend suffering. "Why did you do this to me Abhignya?" Naira finally spoke. Abhignya pretended to be shocked. "You are pretending!" Naira rolled her eyes, wiping her tears.

Her face is swollen with tears. "What? W-What I'm doing?" Abhignya got shocked. "You are a liar." Arjun started. "No. I'm not." Abhignya shook her head. "Arjun, how can you say that?"

"Because you are a liar Abhignya Shrivastav!" Kavya hissed. "How can you say that?" Abhignya rolled her eyes. "I'm just being there for her because she's my best friend and my life is not complete without her."

Naira widened her eyes, now angry on Abhignya. "I said these words before and I heard you saying that you hate me."

"I-I don't h-hate you. I-I love you so much N-Naira." Abhignya tried to hug her, making Naira cry again. "Abhignya, I thought you're a nice girl, a best friend. But you proved me wrong. You are a two faced woman. You know backstabbing. You don't know the real meaning of friendship!" Akshitha scorned her. Abhignya widened her eyes. "Why are you guys behaving weirdly today? What's wrong with you?" Abhignya asked, pretending.

Naira got up and slapped Abhignya so hard. She caught her cheek and glared at Naira. "Why did you do this?"

"Because you HATE ME!" Naira shouted. "I don't hate you!" Abhignya screamed. "Don't fake it Abhignya!" Kavya shouted. "I am not faking anything Kavya!" Abhignya yelled. "You are. You are a fake person. You said cheap things against my sister who always looked after you as her sister. More than us. You always shouted at her, gave a class to her whenever you were upset. I remember each and everything. I was there with her." Arjun shouted.

Abhignya is at loss of words. "Hell yeah, I hate her. She is not worth of anything. She's always in depression. I hate her so much. I am always a thing to use because I always listen to her shit. She always gets upset when you guys don't respond. She always wants someone to listen to her blah, blah! Sorry, I'm not that type. I won't allow it." She shouted.

Naira got even more shattered. "Look at me Miss. Naira Akanksha Vadehra, I am breaking up with you. I hate you so much! Bye." Abhignya hissed. "A-Abhi!" Naira fell down on her knees, crying. "Get lost you guys!" She shouted. Kavya gave a quick look to Arjun and Akshitha. They nodded, leaving her alone.

Naira is even more crying. She didn't want that. She didn't want to lose her best friend in this way. She didn't think of losing her best friend from childhood. They played together, shared each and everything. Shared their secrets which no one knows, even Kavya and Arjun. She was so elated to see her in the USA and in the same fashion college. She thought they'll be best friends and she also imagined a bright future with her, going on double dates with their life partners and stuff. She also imagined getting pregnant at the same time and now her world is shattered. This is backstabbing.

"Yes! She didn't understand me!" Naira heard someone shout. She wiped her eyes and her nose before opening the door and running out. She caught the railing and saw Abhignya, Kavya, Arjun and Akshitha having an intense argument. She became horrified. "Yes! That fucking Naira Akanksha Vadehra didn't understand me her entire fucking life. I'm the one who always understood her. She never understood me." Abhignya shouted. Naira is again crying silently. "She understood you more than anyone. Who payed money for the gifts you bought for your favourite actor? Who sent them? Who cared for you when your so called best friend Bhavana cheated? Who cried with you the whole night? Who binge watched Netflix with you when your parents are not there? Is it Naira or her fucking spirit?" Arjun shouted. "My sister was there with you everytime. She always gave importance to you in her life. More than her. More than us. Damn, you were her life. You just want to search reasons to go away from her because you're manipulated by someone." Kavya shouted. "I am not manipulated by someone! I hate her. I hated her my entire life. She didn't understand that. She always becomes sad when you guys don't respond. She always becomes sad when Taylor is sad. I am not even a fan of that fucking Taylor Alison Swift who writes and bawls about her exes." Abhignya shouted, earning a tight slap from Akshitha. "Don't you dare talk about Taylor like that."

"I will."

"You'll die."

"You don't have guts."

"You're provoking me to kill you."

Naira ran down to face the argument. "Guys, please stop. I don't want to hear any argument now. I am already shattered because of this bitch, who ruined my life completely."

Naira started crying. Varun walked into the room, without noticing Naira crying. He was listening to music on his headphones. Arjun, Kavya and Akshitha saw him with a surprised face. "Why is he ignoring Naira?" Akshitha whispered. "I don't know." Kavya whispered back. "He was never like this before." Arjun whispered. Kavya and Akshitha nodded.

"Abhignya, please leave." Naira showed her finger to the door. "Fine! I don't want to be here." Abhignya hissed, stomping her feet and storming out.

Suddenly, Arjun's phone beeped. A message popped in.

"Come to Vedetta's. Fast." - Chris.

"We need to go to Vedetta's hospital. Fast." Arjun rushed.
