Chapter Four

Iwoke up in a hotel room. I looked over at the clock the was on thedrawer near the bed. The clock said 1 o'clock PM. I realized that Ihave been asleep like almost forever. I sat up in the bed. As I satup in the bed, I looked over to the side of the bed to see Randysitting on it. I moved over closer to him. He looked like he wasupset about something. I wrapped my arms around him. He looked overat me since he felt me do it. He placed his hand on top of my hand.

"You are finally awake? You have been asleep for hours. Youmust have needed the sleep though. I am glad you got some goodsleep." He said to me.

Iresponded to him, "Oh shush sir. It was indeed some good sleep. Areyou okay? You seem down. What is the matter?"

Randysaid, "Samantha and I's divorce has been finalized finally. That iswhat she wanted to tell me and we discuss what will happen withAlanna. I have not be open about what has been going on but that iswhat has been going on with me."

I said, " I am so sorryto hear that."

Randy said, "It will be okay. It has been along time coming. Are you hungry? I was wondering if you want to goto my house. I could cook you something. It is not too far from here.We can chill there. We can watch a movie or something."

Ismiled, "That sounds like a lovely idea. I am up for that."

Randysmiled back at me. We got up from the hotel bed. I got dressed in ablue dress that was the length to my knees. Randy and I got into hisRV. We travelled to his house. He unlocked the door and let me infirst. I walked into his house. It has been a while since I have beenhere. I used to babysit Alanna a lot back in the day before I got mychance to be a wrestler. Randy opened that door for me. I went overto the living room. Randy headed into the kitchen. I sat down on thecouch to wait for him to finish making whatever he was going to make.

Randyreturned about twenty minutes later. He sat down right besidesholding two plates. The plates contained meat loaf with mashedpotatoes. There was also broccoli and corn on the plate. He handed meone of the plates. I took it from him carefully.

I said,"Wow, Randy! The food looks great. I cannot wait to eat it."

"Ibet. Thank you. What would you like to watch?" He asked lookingstraight at me.

Ianswered him, "We can watch the Notebook."

Randy noddedhis head. He put on the Notebook then sat back down with me. He hitthe play button. We both began to eat as we watched the movie. Thefood tasted really good. He is such an amazing cook. I love eatingthe stuff he makes. I can never get enough of it. We both finishedeating in about ten to 15 minutes. I moved a bit closer to Randy as Ihanded him my plate. He put it on the table that was close to thecouch. He also moved closer. I laid my head on his shoulder to watchthe movie. He wrapped his arm around me. He also had his other handon my knee.

Beingthis close to Randy felt so right. I have never felt this feelingbefore when I would be near him. I mean we started hanging out morerecently due to the fact we have a love storyline together. Myfeelings for this man must be coming out that were deep down hiddeninside of me. I have not felt this way since I first fell for Cody. Iknow that is a bad thing to think but it is true. Randy would thenlook at me. I looked at him back. I was going to lean in to kiss himbut I decided against that. It would be wrong of me to do so. I maynot be engaged to Cody but I am still his girlfriend. I cannot hurtCody like that. It is not who I am. He does not deserve pain likethat. I then quickly went back to watch the movie. I stayed close tohim and kept his arm around me. I believed there was nothing wrongwith that at all. It was nothing over the top like a kiss would havebeen. We just ended up watching the movie in the position we were in,looking at each other every now and then.

The movie ended.Randy turned to me and asked, "Do you want to watch another one?"

"Yes that would be fine Randy. I have no problem withwatching movies with you all night." I spoke to him softly. I movedmy head closer to his chest. He held his arms tighter around me. Heis such a good friend to give me some comfort when he knows I needit. He knows I am going through a hard time. It is so sweet of him tokeep me in his arms cause it does make me feel so much better.

Randy put in another movie. I believe he put in Braveheart.It was not a romantic movie but a good movie never the less. He cameback to me and put me back in his arms. He hit the play button. Westarted with this movie but we basically had a movie marathon allnight long. It was quite peaceful. Randy and I would do some smalltalk about movies and stuff we liked about them but other thanremained quiet.
