Jimin's POV

Me and Jae had lunch together and it was REAL fun. Jungkook told me to grab every chance there is, so when Jae got a message from Jungkook saying that he can't drive her home, I got an idea.

"Uhm, Jae. Since Jungkook can't take you home, do you want me to take you home?" I asked her while trying to keep my voice steady.

"Oh, yeah, sure! Thanks, Chim!" She beamed. I was so shocked when she called me Chim.

"Uhh, what was Chim?" Okay I'm sweating real hard right now.

"Oh, i don't know. It just came up on mind. You don't like it?" Jae sounded pretty sad and I immediately feel bad.

"Uh, wha-what? No! I-I l-like i-it." I can't believe I just stuttered in front of her.

Jae smiled then said, "Now who's stuttering" Obviously mocking me.

"Back with the attitude eh, Jeon?" I smirked at her. "Nah, just kidding." She showed me her boxy smile.

We finally reached the car, and I opened the door for her. "Such a gentleman, me likey." Jae's change of attitude shocked me.

"Holy crappity crap, what was that, Jae?" I literally laughed my ass out and she joined me. "I don't know it just popped out." She continued laughing.

I told her to wait for a moment because I need to call Jungkook, but I told her that I'm gonna call my mom.

Phone Conversation

JM :
Yah, Kook!

JK :
Uh, hello?

JM :
Remember about our plan for your noona?

JK :
Oh, yeah. What about it? How's it going?

JM :
You told her that you can't take her home right? So I asked her if she wants me to take do it.

JK :
Did she say yes?

JM :
Hell yeah, she did.

JK :

Great! Don't miss the opportunity.

JM :
I definitely won't.

JK :
Go get her, hyung!

JM :
I'm hanging up. Don't want her to wait too long.

JK :
Okay, ciao!

JM :
Yep. Bye.

~Phone conversation ended~

I entered the car and found Jae playing her phone. "I'm sorry if I took too much time." I stared to her side while starting the engine.

"Oh, no. Don't worry. I'm sure Auntie must have missed you. Don't mind me." She turned her head to me and I nodded.

The car ride was silent, but it wasn't awkward, it was peaceful. I decided to connect my phone to my car's bluetooth speaker and played one of Lauv's song.

I started singing along, and Jae joins too. "Hey, I didn't know that you're a fan of Lauv." Jae looked at me.

"You don't know lots of things about me, Jae." Like how I feel that my heart is going to explode at any moment.

"I guess you're right, Chim." She laughed. I replied to her, "Well at least, now you know one." She hummed in response.

We continued our carpool karaoke. I decided to put another of Lauv's songs on queue.

We sing along again. Well, actually, I'm singing this for her. But I don't think she'll notice.

"Man, how I love this song." I sighed then tapped my fingers on the wheel.

"Hey Chim. You have a beautiful voice, an amazing one." She complimented me. I'm really fluttered, I feel like flying.

"Ahaahaha, thanks. Same goes to you." I said shyly to her and I'm pretty sure I'm blushing right now.

We finally reached Jae's mansion. I got off of my seat and opened the door for Jae. "Thanks, Chim!" she beamed while taking her bag with her.

"No problem!" I replied to her then waved at her.

I went straight towards my mansion which is only a few blocks away. After I got home, I changed, showered, then layed on my bed.

"What a beautiful day." I sighed then smiled to myself. I'm real happy right now and I hope that me and Jae could end up being 'something'.

"I wish she won't keep her competitive side when it comes to 'us'. It'll be hard." I keep on talking to myself and thinking about my future that I hope will end up with her. And I guess, I got too lost in my dreams and ended up sleeping.
