Chapter 15

      The next day I didn't even want to go to school. I didn't care if they fired Mr. Jenkins or not. I was still not gonna go. So... I texted Luke.

"Hey sweetie will you come pick me up around 9:00?"

"Sure, where do you wanna go?"

"Well, not to school, that's for sure."

"Ya, I understand, I'll pick you up, promise."

"Ok, see you then."

"Ok byeeeeee!"

I plugged my phone back up. And I got a shower. Once I got out I looked at my arms and I noticed that I had fingernail marks in my skin from where he held me down. But I didn't want to think about yesterday, it gave me goosebumps.

I got dressed. I put on my pink tie-die tank, with some dark shorts. I put on my black converse. Brushed my hair, and my teeth. And ate some gum. I put on a little mascara but that was it.

I ran outside and sat on the little bench mum and dad built when I was born.

Luke drove a little bit past my house to make it not so obvious that I was leaving with an extremely cute guy!

"I'm having band practice today, do you want to come and listen?"

"Sure, but will Michael be there?"

"He is apart of the band you know."

"Ya, well I guess. But what if he questions about me riding up here with you?"

"He probably won't but if he does, I'll just say she wanted to see you practice. And she didn't have a ride."

"Ok, I hope it works."

"It will, trust me!"

"Ok. I do."

"Great!"

He drove over to a house that I've never been to before. Maybe this was Calum's House. Who knew.

We got out and Luke rang the door bell. Some Hawaiian looking kid opened the door. But he had an Aussie accent.

"Luke!"

"Cal!"

"Woah who's the chick?"

"Hey, she's not a chick, she's a person."

"Of course I know that! But what's her name?"

"Why don't you ask her?"

"Ok, well hello there. I'm Calum, and you are?...."

"Dresden, and nice to meet you Calum I've heard so much about you from my brother."

"Mikey speaks about me?"

"Yep."

"Cool. Well come inside. Ash and his girlfriend are inside."

Luke and I swallowed hard. We walked inside and and we sat down next to Ash and Sid.

Ashton and Sidney were holding hands. Luke whispered in my ear.

"That's just crazy isn't it?"

I whispered back. "Yea, I know, it's only been a little while."

Sidney looked over at us and then said "Dres, can I speak to you? Alone?"

"Yes?"

We stood up and we walked behind the wall and Sidney said "How come you never told me?"
