Hiding

Chapter 16

    

   After sitting on the couch with Luke for an hour, we finally decided to get up and do something else.

"Do you wanna go....Somewhere fun?"

"Sure? What did you have in mind?"

"It's a surprise."

"Ok."

"Here c'mon I gotta go change out of these pajamas, and into some play clothes." He took my hand. And we went upstairs. He smiled and changed right in front of me! Ugh he knew that I liked it, but hated it at the same time!

He changed into some black basketball shorts, with a loose grey tank.

"You might wanna change too."

"To what?"

"Into some play clothes, stuff that you can run in, jump in. You know shorts and a tank top?"

"Oh yah I know what you mean. I brought some."

"Ok." He waited. He just looked at me. I looked around, and then at him. I think that he was waiting for me to change.

"What is it? Is my hair messed up?"

"No, you look beautiful. But aren't you gonna change?"

"Yes, in the bathroom."

"Oh ok."

"Ya." I walked downstairs and grabbed my bag, then walked right back up.

I dug threw my bag, until I found some black spandex shorts, and a pink tank. I walked into the bathroom, and changed.

Then I came out and said "So, where we going?"

"Just follow me."

He held my hand and walked downstairs. Before we went outside he said "I don't think you've ever seen my back yard. Have you?"

"Nope."

"Ok, cool. Just wait for it."

He opened the back door..... And....... BAM!!!

His backyard was huge! He had an Underground pool, next to an Underground trampoline! I didn't even know they made those.

"What is this?"

"My backyard?"

"It looks like an Amusement park."

"We just had all of this put in last month."

"Oh that's cool."

"Ya, it was a lot of work."

I just had a little laugh under my breath.

"So what do you wanna do first?" Luke said grinning.

"How about we.... go jump on the underground trampoline?"

"Yes! Let's do it!"

"Ok, I'll race you!"

"Ok."

"Ready, set, Go!"

I ran as fast as I could. I ran ahead of Luke, but right before I could step on the soft trampoline, Luke came right behind me and tickled the sides of my stomach. I burst into a laugh, and fell on the grass. Luke was still tickling me, he fell over on top of me. He was laughing, and I was laughing, it was a big laughing mess. Then he stopped ticking me, and he slowly stopped laughing. But his beautiful bright smile never left his face. As I was trying to catch my breath, I stopped laughing. Luke's eyes were so blue. My heart raced as we stared into each other's eyes. Luke leaned in, I waited for his lips. I closed my eyes, then I felt his soft sweet lips lock with mine. They moved in perfect harmony. It made me smile, and giggle a little. Then Luke giggled and said "What is it?"
