Ok so since more games have been added to the series since the first timeline, I have to make a new one including it. We know that Afton had four kids, Sam and Charlie from the book series, his daughter who got killed by Circus Baby, and Michael, who was the oldest. Michael killed or abducted Sam, Michael killed by the springtrap suit, and the girl killed by Baby.
FNAF 4 would still come first, starting off the haunting of the animatronics and getting the ball rolling.
Then would come Sister Location. Sister location would come next because the bite of '87 occurred before the kid looking to make sure that his fear of the animatronics didn't consume him. Afton places cameras in his home to keep an eye on his sick child while he was away at work in case of any emergencies. Afton's daughter is killed by circus baby shortly after the restaurant opens.
FNAF 1 would be next because in Sister Location it's like a rival restaurant and we know that Freddy Fazbear's was a chain, so it does make sense that they'd be going on at the same time.
Next would be the second FNAF. This was where Sam was killed and Michael was crushed in the springtrap suit. Three of aftons kids are now dead.
Next would be fnaf 3 where we see what happened to Michael and see the haunted spirits.
Next would be FNAF 6 where the spirits return to haunt Afton once and for all. The spirits are released and that's the end of the game and the resolution. Afton committed suicide by burning that pizza place so the animatronics would burn and the spirits would be free.
FNAF 7 has no place in the timeline as it is just a challenge game.
