"(Y/N)!"
"WHA-" your head snapped up from its resting place on your textbook. Your tired eyes found their way to Jeongin, who was stifling his laughter.
"Good morning~" he giggled.
You grumbled in response as you rubbed your eyes. "How long was I out for?"
"About ten minutes. I'm surprised you woke up that fast."
"How many times did you say my name?"
"About three. I was about to yell your full name if you didn't wake up after that fourth shout."
You sighed, running your fingers through your hair as you stared down at the book that you had used as a pillow. You pouted. Math was one of your least favorite subjects due to the random letters in equations and longwinded story problems.
The only thing that made the class less dreadful was your cute braces wearing bestie Jeongin. Thankfully his seat was right next to yours, though it did cause trouble sometimes. He knew better than anyone how much you hated and struggled with the class, he also knew it put your sleep deprived butt to sleep super easily.
He was watching as you reread a problem multiple times, finally groaning and dropping your head onto the book again. He chuckled slightly at the display, sitting up in his seat.
"Hey, (Y/N)."
"What." You said, turning your head so your cheek rested on the page.
He smiled softly, "lets get ramen after school. My treat."
You shot up in your seat, a huge smile plastered on your face. "Really?!"
He laughed a bit from your sudden change in emotion. "Yeah really, I think you'll need it after today."

"That was amazing~" you sighed, content with the food in your tum.
Jeongin nodded in agreement as you two walked to the park near your house. He lead you to the swings once you were there. You both sat on two empty swings that were next to each other. You spent the next half hour seeing who could swing the highest, jump the furthest, spin the most and then see who could walk the farthest while dizzy. As the sun began to set and you two settled down, Jeongin had found his way behind you and began lightly pushing you while you remained on the swing.
You watched the setting sun, a small soft smile on your face. This afternoon had been amazing, anytime you spent with IN was amazing. You felt so comfortable in his presence, you two were best friends after all. Your smile grew a bit, "hey IN?"
He stopped pushing you for a second, grabbing onto the swing's chains right above your hands. "Hey (Y/N)?" He looked down at you.
You tilted your head back to look at him, resting it against his chest. "I had fun today."
His cheeks had gone pink, but he smiled lovingly down at you. "Me too. Do you feel better?"
"Mmm, almost."
"Almost?"
"There's one last thing that could make this evening perfect." You said as you closed your eyes.
He stared at your lips for a few seconds, his cheeks reddening. "And what would that be?"
You opened your eyes, making eye contact with him. You gave yourself a tiny boost up to quickly kiss him. He stood there frozen. Eyes widen and lips still slightly pouting. You giggled, getting up from the swing and making your way to your bags. You turned on your heels to look back at him. He had watched you the entire time, still unable to believe what just happened.
You smiled and held your hand out to him. "Coming?"
A huge smile slowly formed, showing off those braces of his that made you giggle. He ran over to you, picking you up around your waist and spinning a few times for good measure.
His smile became soft while he listened to your laughter, taking you in with the setting sun behind you.
"Of course."
