Not So Silent Confessions (Vernon x Female Reader)

"I think we should play truth or dare!"

The wide range of groans and protests filled the air after DK's suggestion was spoken. A pillow had been launched at him, hitting him in the face.

"Hey! It's not a bad idea!" He threw the pillow back at Seungkwan.

"Truth or dare is so cliche though." Joshua said.

"Why don't we play that honesty game? (Y/N) is here now so it could be more fun!" Dino suggested this time, earning some head nods.

"How could it be fun? There's no host for the game, unless someone wants to sit out." Jun responded.

"It's also not being shown on tv so there's no audience." The8 added.

"You guys are buzz kills." Dino pouted.

You laughed at all the boys. Hanging out with them was always a good time, how could it not with 13 of them. Up until now you had just been munching on popcorn and listening, but now you felt you had to throw in your two cents.

"I liked that game, it looked like fun. But haven't you guys already said everything you could about each other?"

"We didn't get to say anything about you, (Y/N)." Seungcheol said.

"You also haven't told us what you think of us or stories you have." Vernon added, eating some popcorn.

You looked to him, earning a glance from him. All the other boys murmured in agreement, beginning to talk amongst themselves.

"I mean, you're not wrong-"

The boys broke out in cheer over what they took as your agreement to play.

"Vernon, go get your headphones!" Seungcheol ordered.

"Alright alright," he stood up, "but we're not using my phone for music." He said as he made his way to his room.

"We can use mine." You offered.

"(Y/N)'s phone~" Seungkwan and Hoshi said in awe, earning a laugh from you and a pillow being thrown their way. All the boys laughed a bit as Vernon made his way back into the living room, sitting down next to you yet again.

He handed you his headphones and you plugged them in, going to your spotify. You searched up a playlist to use for the game, Vernon watching over your shoulder a bit. "Who's going first?" You asked without looking up.

Vernon looked up and everyone looked at each other as they tried to figure out who.

"Why don't you go first, (Y/N)?"

You looked over at Woozi who just shrugged back at you. "We've already done this so it only seems right for you to go first. Then everyone would have done it."

"That's a good point." Mingyu agreed.

You shrugged, "alright." Slipping on the headphones and choosing one of your personal playlists you turned up the volume.

"Can you hear us?" Vernon asked after he watched you get ready. You looked to him, only blinking in response.

"No?" He shook his head a bit so you knew what he was asking. You shook your head back and looked around at the boys, giving them a thumbs up.

"Alright!" Seungcheol said with a clap of his hands. "I shall be the announcer here, so welcome one and all to the honesty game. We'll go around clockwise as we tell stories or say things about (Y/N) we'd never have the guts to tell her when she can really hear us. Got it?"

The 12 boys nodded. Clockwise from Seoungcheol meant Seungkwan was first. Each boy got their turns, telling their favorite embarrassing stories of you. Woozi actually praising you for being the only one who defends him when he's forced to act cute, but also doing a 180 and calling you a traitor for cooing when he does the other times.
