What's your dream in life?

To be a musician

What do you play?

Guitar, I'm also not a bad singer

Maybe you could play for me one day

The first time we meet I'll have my guitar on me

You softly smiled to yourself, carrying on your conversation with Felix into the wee hours of the night. By time your first yawn hit you it was 3 am, your eyes had found the red digits after opening. You looked out your window at all the stars shining brightly, thankful there were no clouds.

The stars are beautiful tonight

I'm sure they're not as beautiful as you

That was cheesy... blocked

You can't block me, my writing literally appears on your skin without your consent

NO CONSENT. REPORTED.

(Y/N) I SWEAR TO GOD

NO SWEARING ON MY GOOD CHRISTIAN SERVER

Ok I'm blocking you now

•••

Have you eaten yet?

I'm eating right now. Have you?

Just did, that's why I'm checking on you

So when are we gonna meet?

I've got work today. If you wanna come by when I go on break you can

Sounds like a plan my dude

"Sooo, how are you and Felix?" Markie snapped you out of your thoughts as she sat next to you on the couch.

You set down your empty cereal bowl on the table along with your pen. "Good, we're talking about meeting up finally."

"Oh really? When?"

"Today, during his break at work."

"Where does he work?"

"...one second."

Where do you work??

Felix?

Oi Felix

Hello??

Why aren't you responding to me?

Oh god you didn't die right? Are my words appearing on a corpse?

Oh geez if you're still alive that just appeared on your arm

Hewwo pwease respond

I WISH I HAD MORE FAT SO I COULD WRITE MORE

"I take it he isn't responding." Markie said before sipping the cereal milk from her bowl.

"No." You huffed. "He might already be at work."

"Wanna go chill at that one cafe down the road for a bit? We can get some coffee and wait for a response. I'm sure wherever he works there'll be a slow in the morning and he'll get time to read whatever you wrote him."

"What about you and your soulmate? How are you two?"

"Chan's asleep, so I keep doodling stuff on my arms for him to wake up to. He likes to put hearts next to his favorites."

"uwu."

Both of you chuckled, cleaning up and getting ready to head out. The walk to the cafe isn't a long one, and walking with Markie makes the trip seem shorter with all the laughing you two do. You were laughing as you entered, lowering your voices as you got in line.

You eyes caught sight of the new barista behind the counter. He seemed to be slower than the other, asking questions often. He had short brown hair, tanner skin and freckles that even you could see from your spot in line. They caught your attention more than anything, looking like stars in the night sky. He never looked up at you, too busy in his work. You were a little grateful because that meant he wouldn't catch you staring, but you wished he would look up once so you could see the color of his eyes.

A nudge to your shoulder pulled you out of your trance, your head snapping to Markie for a second time this morning.

"You were staring to drool."

You nudged her back, "oh shut up."

She just giggled in response, moving up in line. You two had become next, how it happened so quickly was beyond you because it seemed as if the world had slowed as soon as you saw the boy with freckles. And when you looked back down from the menu above, you came fave to face with him.

"What can I get you?" He asked, his voice not matching his appearance at all. It was deep and slightly rough from the aussie still left in it.

Markie gave her order while you forgot basic knowledge of words. He typed it in, his nose scrunching adorably as he did. His face relaxed once he figured out the order process, finally making eye contact with you. You couldn't allow yourself the pleasure of getting lost in them, for their was a line of grumpy caffeine needing people behind you. You fumbled with your words, finally spitting out your order.

He simply smiled at you, taking your appearance in for a second before quickly putting in and writing down your order. "Is that it?"

"Yep." Markie responded.

He gave you your total and as he gave Markie the change, the words on his arm came into view and they couldn't be clearer. Your eyes widened as they followed it back down, moving them up to look into his again.

"Felix?"

"Yes?" He looked at you, a little confused.

"Lee Felix. Lee Yongbok."

He stiffened slightly at the use of his korean name, his brows coming together. His confusion growing deeper.

"It's me, (Y/N)."

His brows shot up, his eyes lit up, and his jaw dropped. He just smiled slightly in disbelief.

The costumer behind you looked to him as they cleared their throat, obviously not realizing what just happened due to them being low on energy.

You quickly moved aside with an apology. The person moved up and began to order but Felix hadn't taken his focus off of you. You kept glancing back to him every so often, the blush on your cheeks growing each time.

His break couldn't have come any quicker... that's a lie. It could. But Felix was forced to take a later break due to him messing up multiple orders and staring at you too often. When the time did come, Markie made an excuse to leave.

"Chan just woke up, I'm gonna go call him." She hopped down from her seat with her drink and quickly scurried away as Felix came over.

You sat up straighter and suddenly became very interested in your empty cup. He stood next to the now empty seat, looking around a bit before looking at you.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked with a shy smile. It made the butterflies in your stomach go wild as you simply shook your head.

He slid into the seat, resting his hands on the table.

"So... I'm not dead." He said as he pointed to the message on his bicep.

The blush was back because good GOD does this boy got some muscle on him. You giggled though, rubbing the back of your neck. "Sorry about that one."

He smiled and chuckled, "don't be, it made me laugh."

You smiled softly at him, slowly relaxing in his presence. After all, he was your soulmate.
