Hermione's POV -

"Let's play... 21 questions." He said with a small smirk on his face.

"Why twenty one questions?" I ask him. What is he planning to ask me?!

"So we could get to know each other better, of course. Oh, by the way, that counted as a question." he said.

"What?! That's unfair. I didn't know we started yet."

"It doesn't change the fact that you still asked me a question!!"

I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I say.

"Okay, now it's my turn." He said.

"Fine, go ahead and ask."

He squinted his eyes, just the tiniest bit, which showed that he was thinking about what to ask me.

"What is your favorite subject?" he asked me. That's easy.

"Charms, of course." I said happily. I loved charms. It was probably the most fun class out of all of them. It's really hard for me to choose, but I know that Charms is my favorite.

I was kindof surprised he didn't ask me something personal, or... I don't know, something a Malfoy would ask, like Do you like me??

...Do I like him??

He grinned. "It's my favorite too."

Wow. Who knew we had something in common??

"Your turn." he said quickly.

"Hmm... Do you have any pets?" I asked. I decided not to ask him anything hard, since he asked me something simple as well.

"Yes, actually. I have an eagle owl, named Bubo bubo."

The fact that he had an owl surprised me. I don't know why, since most of the first years got a pet, and his family is rich.

"Well, I named him after... I-its really isn't that important." he said, and I almost thought I saw his eyes become watery.

"No, you have to answer the question, Draco."

"Actually, I don't. It wasn't your turn to ask, meaning that I do not have to answer." he smart-mouthed.

"I can just ask you after you ask me a question." I reply, taking in his defeat.

"Well then, we'll stop playing." He says and I sigh.

"Malfoy. Answer the question, pleaaaseee!!" I said, and looked him with puppy eyes, begging him to answer.

"Nope."

I sigh.

He can always make his way around anything. I mean, he is a Slytherin.

"fine." I state, simply, and that was the end of the 'game'.

There was a long period of silence, until the door began to creak open.

Dumbledore entered, and I got up from the bed, to greet him.

"I have come to tell you that your stay at the hospital wing is no longer nessecary." He said to Draco, in his serious voice.

"What?!?! But I thought I would have to stay here for at least two more days!!" Draco replied, sounding both sad and surprised at the same time.
