"WE HAVE TO GO!" a young man shouted, standing in the middle of Simon's apartment.

Simon roused from a deep sleep, and looked to see who it was, but it was too late. The man was halfway out the door. He only caught his backside. "COME ON! LET'S GO!" The young man yelled from the hallway. Simon dressed as quickly as he could. He ran into the hallway and just caught a glimpse of the man, as he darted down the stairway. "COME ON!"

Simon chased him all the way to a rocky beach. "Where are we going?"

"Back?!" the man shouted.

"Back? Back where?"

"To the island of your birth!"

The island of my birth? "Why?"

"Because it's time!"

"Time for what?"

"Change!" the man called out. "It's time for a change!"

Simon stopped running, and watched the man climb into a boat, and disappear. It was a sailboat on blocks, filled with holes in its hull.

He woke and sat up. It wasthe same place in the dream he always woke. He had been having the same dreamfor thirty years. All that time, the presence of a young man never made sense tohim. There were only elderly people on the island, until recently. There wassomething new, though. This was the firsttime he noticed what the man was wearing. A colorful, flowery shirt and somedenim pants. Isn't that the same shirt Riverwears? The pants were definitely notRiver's, though. He distinctly remembered River wearing checkered pants.
