I walk into a large dining area. There was a long table from the left wall to the right. Looking farther back was a door probably leading to the kitchen.

I noticed it was silent and my eyes widened as I saw people staring at me.

Luc walked next to me and bent down to whisper in my ear.

"Go to the seat next to Kieron I will be across from you." Then started walking to the table.

I spotted Blue at the end of the dining table in a throne like seat. I walked towards the seat next to it. Placing myself on the chair, I was pleased to find the seat was soft and comfy.

I look up and saw everyone looking at me for awhile until someone spoke up.

"Hi my name is Sadie." A young woman with bright violet excitedly greeted me.

She sat right beside me so I turned to her and smiled.

"Hi Sadie my name is Lux" I gave her a small wave.

"Are yo" She was interrupted by a bald man with burnt orange eyes.

" I don't understand why a human is here? I can sense Earth one on her." He snarled.

I jumped slightly at the tone of his voice.

"I don't understand why you have an attitude like a rotten pumpkin." I muttered to myself. I swear, why can't people be nice these days. It really isn't that hard.

"Listen here you hick." He hissed at me.

I guess he heard me.

"That's enough, Harold." A deep voice stopped whatever Mr. Pumpkin was ever going to say to me.

Blue looked at me and spoke.

"This is Lux Altera she will be staying with me as long as I want her to. If anyone has a problem with that consider yourself jobless. Do I make myself clear?" His voice held so much authority in it I kind of wanted to sink more into the chair.

Everyone either said yes or nodded their head

"But sir." Harold pressed, but Blue wouldn't have it.

"Harold stop acting like a child. Yes, she's from Earth one, but she is gifted so drop the damn subject."

Harold huffed then started glaring at me.

"And stop glaring at her you oaf."

I heard Luc and Sadie snicker.

I laughed a little then a wonderful aroma filled the air.

Oh yes it's food.

Multiple waiters or maybe maids filled the room to place down various items of food.

I had to stop the drool from coming out of my mouth.

A plate was placed in front of me and I almost cried of joy.

It was a Caesar salad with grilled salmon on top of it.

I grabbed the fork and dug into the meal. My eyes rolled back into my head and I had to stop myself from moaning. This is divine.

I was about to stuff another fork full of this deliciousness into my mouth until I heard a chuckle.

"I take it you like the food." Blue said cutting his steak.

"Like it? I love it! It's so good." I stated happily.

"Don't expect any less." Sadie said

My smile widened and I stuffed another mouth full of salmon and salad.
