I can't believe I'm doing this. This is basically kidnap. I shove a few more clothes in before zipping it up.

I hear the door bust open and I look to see what is was. Ron walked into the room looking from his watch, to his phone.

"Change of plans, can't take you today. I have some business to take care of." He informed me patting down his shirt.

"You are going to leave me alone from now on." My face lights up.

"No, I'll be back to come get you, just not today."

"How about you just forget that I exist, and we can both move on with our lives" I clap my hands together. Maybe he will listen to me.

"How about you stop acting like your not getting kidnapped." He retorts

"Good point."

"Sorry Love, rain check." He says then poofs into air. All that is left behind is nothing.

What just happened?

I fall onto my bed face first and scream into the sheets out of frustration.

This week has been awfully stressful. I just want to find a little corner and weep.

I suddenly lift myself off the bed. I hear the front door close and I run downstairs.

I see my mom and dad both laughing with take out in their hand.

"Mom, Dad?" I look down from the top of the stairs. Didn't I see them trapped somewhere. They look like what I thought they were doing. They got off late and went to go get something to eat. So why did I see a video of them that explained something different?

My mother glances up to me and smiles.

"Hey Lux, why you still up?" She slips her coat off and sets it on the coat hanger.

"Uh, movie?"

"Why are there knives in the wall?" My Dad slid the knife out of the living room wall.

"And in the kitchen!" My mom yelled through the kitchen door.

"Explain yourself young lady." Dad sets the knife down on the table.

"I was practicing my aiming skills." I tumble out quickly making up a horrible excuse. I'm not good at lying.

"You are grounded Lux." Mom entered the room.

"You're also going to cover up these holes too." She explains running her finger over the wall.

"Yes, I will fix the hole, but Mother I'm 20 years old. There is no need to ground me." I argued.

"You are living under this roof, so you do as I say, on top of that I'm your mother."

"You guys insisted I stay until I'm 21, and how can you ground me." I cross my arms. I really wanted to move out around 18, but they insisted I stay because I'm still a child.

"No going out, you go to work, and come straight home. Am I clear on that." My dad says looking at me expectantly.

I drop my arms and sigh in defeat.

"Yes, sir." I sulk my way into my room and close the door. I haven't been grounded since I was ten. That was when I went into the woods to get my airplane. This is all because Ron tried and kidnap me. He would've succeeded anyways because I can't fight for anything. I lay in bed and close my eyes.

Say goodbye to sweet freedom.

It's been about a week since the halfway kidnap happened. I'm currently in my room reading a book.
