Here you go. A real chapter, not another A/N. It's as promised. Probably horribly, but well, I tried. I hope you guys don't hate it. Liking my works are impossible. Sorry for the anime GIF for those who doesn't like anime. I just felt that it matches what Aelin is feeling. My apologies for also including some curse words. I feel uncomfortable writing them down, because I have never cursed before, and hopefully, I never will. I just thought that if the fanfiction didn't include a few swear words here or there, it won't be the way Sarah J. Maas intended Aelin's character to be. Please let me know reader, if it's okay if I don't include any curse words at all. That way, I can edit them out. I did my best trying to star * them out, so if you see *, that means it's a curse word. Don't include the one below. So, I am so sorry.

Aelin couldn't believe that they let her out of the coffin. She knew that they thought they broke her for sure. Unfortunately, she still had her iron mask on, and a bunch of chains wrapping her whole body to the wall. Being chained to the wall made her feel helpless. As if I wasn't anyway. She hated the iron mask. It reminded her of the past, and that she did have power. She constantly reminded herself that her power was just lost. Whoever decided that the Fan should have a weakness to iron I will personally kill them. I mean, you can easily get iron. Besides that, the mask was so heavy. My head could fall off any second now with this being so heavy. It being on her head all the time made her head hang down low all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a hump on the back of her neck. It was such a burden and restricted her. She felt like she could finally give up. Her body hurts. No, not only her body. Everything does. Her heart.......it yearns for one person, her mate. I can't believe I have a heart though. I wouldn't have believed that I had a heart back when I was Calaena. If I was Calaena, would I survive this torture of Cain? No!!! No. NO! No!!! I am Aelin, Queen of Terrasen, mate of Rowan, and Fireheart. Anyone would feel the same way as me. I can't break. I should just give up though. After so much suffering...she stopped her train of thought to give a cold bitter laugh. I can't believe it. I don't even know the time I've been stuck down here. Who knows how long I have been captured for? Has it been months or years? It sure does feel like years though. Aelin cracked a small smile. At least, I have my sense of humor intact, if I ever had one. I can't believe that I can smile though, even if it is a small one. Although it is believable. I mean, if anyone has been tortured by Cain, they would feel like it's been years. My mind wandered away from me, again, to my friends- I internally groaned, not because of the pain, well that too, but the questions. There they go. Is HE okay? Have they finally defeated Erawan? Did they follow my orders? Is Terrasen in good hands now? Please don't get hurt, all of you-Lys, Aedion, Dorian, and Rowan (my mate, the love of my life, my eternal savior). Will you rescue me? Don't forget about me. With all the thoughts scrambling about in her head, Aelin received a headache.
"Great," she managed to say in her now raspy voice through her cracked lips smothered with blood. "As if I wasn't injured enough before."
"Awwwwwww. Did my little pet break? Finally. You won't believe how long I've been waiting for this," said a certain torturer of hers. "Oh. Cat got your tongue? Are you too scared to bite back? You really are a no bark, no bite type."
Behind Aelin's mask, she showed her teeth to the source of all this pain on her besides her "dear" Aunt Mauve.
The cold voice spoke again taunting her to rip out his throat, if she ever found the strength. "Oh yeah. I forgot about the mask. It's such a shame that Her Dark Majesty wouldn't let me take it off. She wouldn't even let me have fun with you." Mischief laced his voice. I already know what you are implying. Leave me the f*ck alone before I gouge out your eyeballs and shove my foot down your throat. Stop being such an a*s. Unfortunately though, I can't talk. Stupid mask. Darn it!!!
That annoying bastard's voice spoke again. "Luckily though, she still lets me play around with you along with my friends. Boy, do I have a surprise for you. Today, unfortunately, I won't get to have alone time with you. Her Dark Queen wants to see you." Just great. How is that any better? At least the wounds can heal a bit longer. Knowing my Aunt Mauve, she might torture me a bit too. Why do I have such terrible relatives?
Cain unchained me, keeping that terrible mask on though. F*ck that mask. F*ck Mauve. F*ck Cain. I am going to kill them one day. Slowly.
"Let's go." He took Aelin by the arm and moved her outside the jail cell where 8 Fae guards surrounded us, four in the front, four in the back. To protect us from enemies and intruders, me basically. We walked briskly. "Dear" Aunt must have something important to say to me. They entered the Dark Queen's throne room. As we entered, I gasped, internally of course. I would have really gasped, but this stupid darn mask. I couldn't believe it. In my aunt's hand held a...

A/N: There seems to be so many A/Ns lately, huh? XD Anyway, hope you didn't think it was that terrible. Please do let me know if I leave out the swear words, it would still be SJM. This is the most words I have ever written in a published story. This sure is one long chapter.
