"Cmon Kendall lets go!" My mom yells upstairs. I smile. "Ok." I slip on my vans and run downstairs. I get downstairs and say "is Caleb coming?" My mom nods and says "could you go get him for me?" I nod and go into the living room. "Hey Caleb!" I say to my four year old brother. He puts his hands up for me to carry him. I pick him up and meet my mom outside. "Cmon Kendall!" My mom yells to me. "Coming"I say as I close the door. We walk up to the door and ring the bell. It's only my mom, Caleb, and I since my dads at work until 10 most nights. Daniel answers the door. He looks right at me and smiles. I smile back and set down my little brother. He leads us inside and to the kitchen. "Mom Kendall and her family are here." Daniel says when Keri comes from the corner. They start to say hello when I say "mom I'm going to see Anna." She nods and says "ok." I start to walk upstairs when I hear some one running after me. "Anna's sleeping." Daniel laughs. "Oh. Do you mind if we hang out then?" He shakes his head. "Not at all." I smile. We go to his room and sit on his bed. I smile. "Can I confess something." I say. He looks a little worried but says "sure" I look at him and say "I've seen you on American Idol." He smiles. "Really?" I laugh "Yeah. You have such an amazing voice."
"Thank you! Do you sing?" He asks. I smile a little bit. "Yeah a little." "Let me hear!" I open my eyes wide. "Wh-what?" I ask. "Yeah cmon. I won't judge you, I just wanna see how you are! It'll be fun, we can duet together." I shake my head. "There's no way, the only person I've ever sang in front of was my dad." He grabs my hand and says "it will be okay, I promise." I sigh and give in. "Okay..." I say. He jumps with excitement. I laugh.
