Just moved in.

"Ugh!" I exclaim right as I plop on my bed. Let me introduce myself, my name is Mackenzie Cook. My family and I just recently moved to Portland Oregon. I'm not exactly sure why we moved but I guess it was worth it because the boy next door is cute. And if I'm correct I think his bedroom window is right across from mine. I'm 13 years old, I live with my mom, dad, and little brother Caleb. "Mackenzie!" My mom yells. I groan and go downstairs. "What" I say. "I need you to go run these over to the neighbors as a hello gift." No. I can't. What if he's there. "NOW." She yells. I roll my eyes and take them. I grab my phone and shove it in my pocket. I slip of my vans and walk out the door. I walk to his house and ring the doorbell. A girl a little younger than me opened the door. "Hi!" She says. "Hi. My mom wanted me to bring these over as a hello gift or something." She laughs. "My mom would do the same thing." I laugh. "We should hang out some time." I say. "Yeah. How about now. If your not busy with your unpacking." I shake my head "I already finished my packing. I'll text my mom I'm staying over for a little." She nods. "Okay. My mom won't mind. So what's your name?" "Mackenzie" I say. "Oh nice. I'm Anna." I nod my head. She opens the door wider and says "come on in. I'll introduce you to everyone." "Okay." I smile. She closes the door behind me and motions to follow her. We walk to their living room where I see 2 boys and they're dad I think. "Guys this is Mackenzie she lives next door. Mackenzie this is my dad, and my two brothers." I smile and wave. "I'm Jeff. You can call me Mr.Seavey of Jeff it doesn't matter." Seavey? Wait. Eh it couldn't be. I smile me nod. "I'm Tyler and that's Christian" "hi" I say. "ok cmon lets go meet my mom." Anna says. We walk around to the kitchen I see a really pretty woman. She's honestly prettier than me. "Mom this is Mackenzie. She just moved in next door and her mom anted her to bring these over. Do you mind if she stays?" "Not at all. I'm Keri! Nice to meet you Mackenzie. And tell your mom thank you for the cookies!" "I will thank you for letting me stay over." I say. "No problem. Since you guys recently moved in maybe you'd like to invite you family over for dinner. We're having spaghetti!" She exclaims. I smile "yeah absolutely I'll call her." And smiles and gos back to cooking. "Ok cmon. I'll show u my room." I nod and follow her upstairs. We get to her bedroom and my jaw drops. "Wow. This is awesome!" I say. "Isn't it! My mom surprised me with it a couple months ago. Oh I forgot do you want to meet my brother Daniel. I think he's your age." I nod "sure." It couldn't be. I just saw some one named Daniel Seavey on American idol. "Ok cmon!" I follow her. We all about three doors down and she knocks on the door. "Come in" He says. Anna opens the door and I see him playing his guitar. I smile. "Daniel this is Mackenzie she just moved in across the street. I think she's your age...." Anna smiles. I roll my eyes. "Hi." I say. "Hey." He says walking up to me. "So you know I'm Daniel." I nod and laugh. "How old are you?" I ask. "Just turned 14." I smile. "I'm turning 14 next month." I look over and see Anna standing on his bed grinning so big at us. I laugh and say "well I better get going." I say. "Okay. Do you have a phone?" Daniel says. I nod. "Just got the iPhone 5." He nods and holds his hand out. "Can I put my number in it?" I nod and hand it to him. He opens it since I don't have a lock and goes to contacts. He puts his number in and sets the contact name as "Daniel😍🤫" he hands it back to me and I laugh. "Bye Daniel. Bye Anna see you later." "Are you coming to dinner?" Anna asks. "Yeah." Daniel smiles. "I'll save you a spot next to me." I smile and say ok. I walk out and walk downstairs. "Thanks for having me. My mom said we'll be delighted to eat over. What time should we come?" I ask Keri. "Maybe 5." "Ok thank you. See you then." She waves and I slip on my shoes and walk home.
