Quarts seemed like he was in a hurry when he got home. "Hello Quarts! What's the worried face about?" Bentley asked him.
"Oh it's nothing, just... politics." Quarts said.
"Huh, so you've heard of that "domino guy"?" Bentley asked him.
"Well, I have and...uh..." Quarts cut off.
"And what?" Bentley said
"And I don't like him! He doesn't seem worthy of being crowned king." Quarts said, sounding like he was trying to hide something.
"That man thinks he's a warlock. Crazy huh?" Bentley said.
"Uh... Yeah! Crazy! Everybody knows warlocks aren't real." Quarts said.
"Gee, you're really an actor Quarts." Bentley said. Quarts let out a sigh.
"Just... I have work to do, please don't bother me. Alright?" Quarts said.
"Sure thing. Have a good night." Bentley said.
"Good night Bentley." Quarts said.
Quarts rushed upstairs to his room. "Seriously? I'm not the only one? Keeping this a secret is going to be a lot more difficult! Why did he tell the crowd that he was a warlock anyway? What if he thinks he's the only one? What if he finds out about me? Oh dear!" Quarts thought these things to himself in a panic. "Maybe if I just go to sleep I can forget about it?" He thought, so he tried to sleep. Though as much as he tried and as comfortable as he was, he was still uneasy about the fact that he was not the only warlock in this place.
Morning came and Quarts has not slept. "What kind of stress is this? It's endless and painful!" He thought. He got dressed and went downstairs the same as he did yesterday, and hurried to get his coat. "Miss Challe, I have somewhere to go, it's very important!" He said closing the door behind him.
Miss Challe didn't have enough time to say anything before he was gone.
