Is it worth it?|| Chapter 4
Pamela pov
Missed calls:
Babyyy🥰‼️(20)Jonathan has been blowing up my phone, and these are just calls.
Turning off my phone completely I laid on the head of Micheal's bed as he laid on the foot watching reruns of the Fresh Prince of Bell Air.
"Pamela, stop stressing." His voice broke the silence and startled me.
"I'm trying, I really am, but that pissed me off what he tried to pull Micheal, like really?" I stated rhetorically.
"You are completely right...but y'all need to talk and this isn't gonna help anything." He sat up and sat by me at the head of the bed.
Not thinking twice I laid my head on his lap.
His cold hands moved smoothly through my scalp, calming my tense body.
"It's 12:00, baby. Don't you gotta go to the center?" Micheal asked.
I nodded, as my eyes started to drift close.
I felt him start to move from underneath me.
"Micheaaal," I whined opening my eyes to see him standing in front of me smiling.
I put a pout of my face swing my legs to the side of the bed.
"Omg, what am I gonna wear?" I asked looking in the mirror.
All I had on was one of his shirts my underwear and a bra.
"Hold on," he said walking out the room.
I stood in he mirror and looked at my frame.
"Pamela you to cute for this stress girl," I laughed.
Micheal walked back in and sat my clothes from last night if the bed.
I washed your stuff, but I know you probably don't wanna wear that shirt so you can wear my hoodie.
I nodded pulling his shirt off and slipping on my jeans. Now I was only in my bra and jeans.
I looked at Micheal and his hands were covering his eyes, "That's cute," I laughed slightly as he tossed me a hoodie.
"Really Pamela, I'll be downstairs waiting on you." He said walking out of the door.
I nodded slipping on his hoodie and walking outside.
*At the Foryay residence*
Cali Foryay"I really can't stand her." Cali rolled her eyes at the thought of Pamela.
"He must be stupid, what does he see in her? Other than she's thick and light skin...Like who gives a fuck? It's probably all fake anyways." Cali was rambling on and on about Pamela.
That's all who she could ever talk about now. She honestly didn't have a reason for not liking Pamela other than she's with Jonathan.
Cali and Jon were high school sweethearts, Jon was a shy kid in high school. He stayed to himself mostly and focused on his academics. But once Cali came into the picture, she made sure to push him out of his comfort zone. She was the life of the party, always tried new things like alcohol and drugs.
Cali could never get Jon to participate in her activities. There relationship became so serious, he almost married her after graduation night. But once that got into college they started to drift apart. It seemed like there roles reversed, Cali started to focus on her academics, while Jon was out doing what she did in high school.
But instead of coming home to her, like she did for him, he cheated, continuously.
She was blinded by the 'love' he gave her.
Nevertheless, they stayed together, on and off. The day after graduation they made a pact that they followed to this day.
If they didn't find someone by the age of 23, they would be with each other.
Cali hasn't found anyone and her 23rd birthday is approaching.
"Cali, shut the hell up. All you talk about is her and she didn't do nothing to you. That's aggravating, if you got to know her you would actually enjoy her company, but no every time she come around you gotta start some shit." Celest knew her sister was jealous of Pam.
Cali face dropped, "if some girl took the love of your life from you would be pissed off too."
"No baby girl, that's the thing. Jonathan is not the love of your life, let him go." Celest stood up and walking to her room ending the conversation.
Celest knew she couldn't and wouldn't let him go. She also knew that was going to bring a lot of problems.
