I have a horrible memory when it comes to things like names, names of anything.
I will remember how it looks, how it smells. I will remember the sounds and the feeling of the air against my skin but for the life of me I can't remember names.
I guess I just don't find them important. They are not who you are and yet why does our lives revolve around it.
You don't know somebody until you know their name.
Well I'm here to prove the world wrong. You will know me. Not my name. You can call me what you will. Or nothing at all but I ask of you remember me not for my name or lack thereof but for my soul. For my voice. For my thoughts that I share with you, for my life that is not my own anymore because I'm sharing it with all of you.
Remember the taste of the wind as it strokes your skin.
Remember the sound of the shadows as they call you to listen to their stories that are not their own.
Remember how your favourite colour made you feel when you first saw it.
You are not your name but never forget the memories you have made with it.
So do you still have a name for me?
