The friends all stood there in shock, he couldn't be gone could he? This couldn't be real, they couldn't have lost their friend. Why hadn't he said anything to them? Why didn't he tell them what was going on? They all wanted this to be a sick joke, but deep down they all knew this was no joke. It was all very very real.
"We need to call someone" came the meek voice of Jack, his voice evidently laced with fear.
"W...who do we call?" Came Sage's response, tears threatening to spill at the sight of her younger brothers dead body.
"Your parents? An ambulance? The police? Anyone!" Came a response from Mitchell, confidence found within him.
"O...okay" replied Sage as she took her phone out of her pocket and contacted everyone she could. Once done, all four of them stood next to each other anxiously awaiting the arrival of help.

~20 minutes later~
Travis and sages mothers' arrived first. Both of them ran into the room in perfect unison, Adelaide collapsing at the sight of her sons body. Gabriella staring on in shock, tears slowly falling from her eyes, always the stronger of the two even in the most surreal situations. Moments later two police officers walked in along with a paramedic who instantly walked over to Travis' body to check for any vital signs. It didn't take long for the paramedic to shake his head and inform everyone that Travis was indeed deceased and that he will go and contact the coroners office to come collect his body and perform an autopsy.

Once the paramedic had left the two police officers took their chance to introduce themselves. The short, brown haired female turned to the group and began to speak. "I am PC Nicole Gilbert and this is PC Jerome Harvey" she told them, motioning to the man stood beside her who gave a curt wave as a greeting. Nicole continued to speak, "we are here to investigate what exactly has gone on, would one of you be able to tell us what exactly happened to your friend?" She eyed the group expectantly as she reached for the notepad in her pocket. Mitchell was the bravest of the group and always the one who knew exactly what to say and how to describe a situation, he looked Nicole dead in the eyes and he recounted the events earlier, word for horrible word.

Once Mitchell had finished describing what had happened, Nicole turned to the rest of the friends to get them to confirm what Mitchell had said to them. Once everything was confirmed and there were no more details to tell the police officers left the friends and the family to grieve while they waited for the arrival of the coroner.

~ 3 days later ~
It has been 3 whole days since the horrible situation with Travis, none of the friends had gone to school, let alone slept. They spent all night texting each other to make sure everyone was okay, terrified of losing another fiend to the dreaded monster. As they were all so absorbed in their own situation, none of them realised they hadn't heard from Woodie since the day of Travis' death, none of them had checked in he must think they were awful friends. It was only when Landon finally messaged back after a day that he had realised none of them had contacted Woodie that they all thought to include him into another group text and make sure he was okay.

2.35 am Landon: Hey,  Woodie! We are ever so sorry we haven't been in contact recently! Everything has been                    crazy since the situation with Jack. Get back to us as soon as possible!
2.50 am Woodie: Hey guys, it's okay I understand, you were all super close to Jack. I wasn't. It's totally understandable. Thank you for checking in on me, everything is fine.
2.51 am Landon: Thats great to hear Woodie! Keep in touch and we will see you when we are all back at school. Bye for now!
3.20 am Woodie: Bye guys!

Little did the friends know, everything was not fine with woodie. He was in danger, just like the rest of them.

Note; Pretty boring filler chapter. Due to work commitments I am unable to update on a schedule so updates will be as and when I have time. I have a very busy life at the moment and sadly, Wattpad isn't a high priority on my list.
