Unrivaled [Todoroki x Bakugou]

Just Another Day

A/N: This is a shorter chapter, because it's just to introduce you to the plot and characters!

•<Todoroki PoV>•

Just another long ass day. Todoroki was sitting in the alleyway between the old shopping mall and the carpenters place. A small bit of blood dripped down his mouth, after all, he just fed. Although he was only half ghoul, and could eat human food with ease, he still found himself eating off corpses sometimes. It's a habit. After all, his father insisted on him becoming stronger as a ghoul, more than embracing the human side of its life.

Humans always fascinated Shouto. He wanted nothing more than to be human, to live alongside them. He wanted so much, but it was all so far off his reach. After all, his father kept him so far away from the filthy, rotten humans as he referred to them as.

..but he wasn't in his way anymore. His father was dispatched four years back, when he was only 16 years old. Sure, the biggest obstacle in his life was dead and gone, but that left him on his own. For four years, Todoroki has been his own ghoul. Not half human, no. He was a ghoul, with no humanity in him. That's what he believed at least.

He sat in the alleyway, tending to the wounds he sustained from the fight with his dinner. He watched as they slowly mended themselves. Shouto sighed quietly.
“Humans..”

At least he satisfied his hunger, well, for now at least. He wouldn't have to worry about freezing to death either, thanks to his hybrid quirk.

He looked out into the streets. It was going to be a long day.

•<Bakugou PoV>•

“WHAT THE FUCK, SHITTY HAIR?!” The blonde screeched.
“I'm just saying you need to be more careful, you idiot..” Kirishima replied.
The blonde turned away, bandages over his arm.
“You pick fights with anything that moves.. and the ghouls-”
“SHUT UP ABOUT THOSE FUCKING GHOULS. THEY AREN'T A FUCKING THREAT!” He interrupted the red head.
Kirishima rolled his eyes. “You're gonna get eaten.”
“Those ghouls can suck my fucking dick.”
“They're gonna do more than just suck it.. they're gonna bite it off.” Kirishima muttered under his breath.
“Tch. I'm going out.” Bakugou walked out of their apartment before Kirishima could say another word.

A small while later, Katsuki was just walking down the street, tending to his own wounds. It wasn't much, a few gashes that would end up scarring. He sighed quietly, humming as he walked. He passed by a few stores, restaurants and stands. He lost his appetite.
“What an eventful day..”
