Dear Phoenix,
I know you may be wondering what happened to me, and how I've died. I want you to never tell anyone what I'm about to tell you. I was born gifted with a power far greater than anyone has ever seen. The bad men are coming to kill me. If you are reading this, it means I am already dead. Don't be afraid though; you must carry on with what I could not. I cannot explain more now. It is far too dangerous. I believe in you. Just know I loved you and your sister very much. Please stay hidden and safe.

-Past-
I have been living in the shadows for 5 years now. When I first left, I found an old women in the woods. She took me in and gave me a roof over my head. Cedrica was her name. She was the one who trained me to be the warrior I am today. She took care of me when no one else would. I would run down to the village and collect things she needed. We would also go out into the woods and collect herbs and other food. Hunting was always nerve racking for me, but Cedrica would always convince me to do it anyways. That's how I am able to kill now. My most joyous memory's with her were sparing. She taught me how to wield a sword and fight. I became stronger than her. Cedrica also taught me how to use daggers, including how to throw them. I hit my target every time. She even taught me how to shoot a bow, which I have also excelled at.

Two years ago, Cedrica became ill. I did my best to save her, but she slowly passed away. She is in peace now. I have been living on my own every since in her home, on the Mountain of Orrin. I have not encountered a single person face to face since her death. But in her honor, I fight in battles disguised. No one has ever been able to recognize me. No one has even seen me. I stay hidden in the shadows and remain unseen.

I am 17 now. I was 12 years old when I left. I was 15 year old when Cedrica died. I lived on my own ever since then.

-Present Day-
The golden sun is fading behind the bare trees. The last leaves are falling to the ground before winter comes. As I sat under this old tree, I folded the letter back up and put it in my bag. It is time now. I must gather herbs and berry's while the dim light remains. When night comes and the stars shine bright, it is time to head back to Gaia to look for Alcina and get her the herbs she needs. I put on my black cloak and headed into the darkness of the night, with the moonlight guiding my way...

The night sky is beautiful. The only downfall is that I'm lost in these woods. I am so tired after traveling all night. I decide to sit under the tree that has a few leaves remaining. I place my bow beside me, ready to grab in case I need it quickly. After my eyes start to close and my thoughts fade away, I heard footsteps. Startled; I jumped to my feet and went to reach for my bow. It's gone. My only form of defense is gone, I'm lost in these woods with no where to run to, and there's someone here with me. I guess I'm just going to have to stick to hand-to-hand combat and hope for the best. All of a sudden I see a glimpse of someone in a black cloak. Wait. No. It's a girl. She has long dark brown hair. I've never seen her before. Before I could regain focusness and fight back against this unknown person, she disappeared. Not long after everything started to fade to darkness. Before I knew it everything went black...
