I put on my sneakers and grabbed my bag so I could go meet up with Shawn for lunch. I grabbed my phone before leaving and it buzzed in my hands. I look down and greet a text upon my screen.

Hi. Can't make it to lunch. Sorry.
What. Right when I was just about to leave?
olivia:
oh that's okay, did something come up?
shawn:
I don't think I can continue on with us.
No. No not right now please Shawn.
olivia:
us? why not? i'm sorry if i did anything to upset you
shawn:
You're the horrible roommate of that girl who was crying in my room the other day.
You've done some awful things to her and also
you lied to me about the fact you're a freshman
olivia:
shawn please listen to me, Laura is a psychopath,
she's making up all these lies about me to destroy my reputation and life
also i didn't think that me being a freshman was that big of a deal?
shawn:
Not a big deal? I'm the RA and I allowed an underage freshman to drink at a party.
Do you not see how bad that could be for me?
olivia:
shawn i'm sorry for that, please listen to me Laura is out to get me, please believe me
shawn:
Yeah you know after what she's said about you,
I just don't think I can believe you. This is exactly what
