Chapter 3 ( Lost )

Once I heard my alarm go off I quickly got up"I did i even agree to this" i whined while rubbing my eyes.I got up from bed then took a shower,Changed my clothes then left my apartment.

I got a cab and we went to the mall (don't worry it's a different mall).Once we arrived i payed the fare and walked inside the mall. I looked around the stores while on my way to the cafe and there's a lot of cool stuff that I can't buy."Why did i have to be so poor"I thought to myself.

I finally arrived at the cafe and got me a place to sit while waiting for Kyle it's still 9:40 am and Kyle told me to meet me here at 10am...well at least I'm not late.i patiently waited for him for a couple minutes "Ok when Kyle gets here I'm so going to kill him"I whispered to myself,Then my stomach growled "Where is he? It's 10:18 already and I'm so hungry"

After a few more minutes i saw Kyle walk in the cafe.I don't know if I'm happy that he arrived or if I should knock him out for being so late" I thought as i waved at Kyle so that he could see that I'm here.He saw me then walked towards our table.

"Good morning Kyle"I greeted him

He looked at me with a smile which i know for a fact is fake.

"Anyway why are you late? Did you know how long i waited here?Cold and hungry?!!!"

"Ok calm down lil mon.alright I'll go order food"he said with a smile then went to the counter to order us food.

A little while later he arrived with a tray filled with delicious foods.He handed me my favorite cake an iced coffee a chocolate chip cookie and pancakes.

"Thank heavens.I finally get to eat"I thanked and Kyle laughe at me amused.

"So anyway kyle why did you want to meet up?"i asked.His smile slowly fades then turned into a serious face"Why is there something wrong with hanging out with you on a Saturday?"He stated with an angry but somehow sad tone.

I got a bit scared so i looked away from him.

"I know that's not really the reason"I questioned

"You don't know anything"he replied with an angry tone

I looked at him dead straight into his eyes that somehow startled him a bit "Tell me the real reason.Now!" I stated with a serious face

He looked away from me "I'm sorry if I'm acting this way today alice"he breathed "It's just that my g-girlfriend....s-she"he said stuttering over the words.

"Wait you have a girlfriend!?!"

"Yeah i did but...."

"She broke up with you?"

"I was suppose to introduce you to her,That's why invited you here"he said"I was so excited for you to finally meet her.But when i got to her house i saw her with another man yesterday "

"I-im so so sorry Kyle"

"It's ok Alice it's not your fault"

"So how long have you guys been dating?"i asked

"About 7 months now"

"Wow that's long"

"Yeah"

"How long did you think she cheated on you?"

"I heard she cheated on me for almost 3 months"

"That sucks,I'm so sorry Kyle"

He smile at me "It's not your fault Alice"

We sat in awkward silence while having our breakfast.i feel so bad for Kyle he doesn't deserve to be treated like this

"Anyway I'm not going to ruin your Sunday by comforting me and feeling bad for me all day"He spoke "Let's go and look around the mall"he suggested

I smiled "Ok but we have to go to the new arcade"i replied "I've always wanted to go there"

"Alright Alice" he said with a sweet smile on his face
