This takes place on Choosing Day. Tobias had the results of Dauntless and Abnegation and left his father for Dauntless. When he arrives, his instructor, Tris, is arrogant, smart-mouthed, and strong. She is barely scared of anything and her initiates are just plain out rageous. She has to work with Dauntless leader, Peter, and her Dauntless born instructor, Chrisina. Tobias is 18 still and Tris is 19. If everything works well, will Tobias be able to make Dauntless initiation? Or will he and Tris be separated?
