The blood drips and gets scanned . well at least that's the first thing that happens. I'd like to take a brief moment and introduce myself I'm Austin Smith, I'm 14 years old and pretty much a normal person except for the fact that I have a disease that actually a lot of people have lately so I'm not just gonna talk about my issues. but let's just put it this way it's not easy as you possibly suspected especially when you were the only one who had it in your last grade in school. but there were others who had it in other grades but I don't intentionally talk to people who are younger than me really. but it gets hard and tough and not just with the disease itself I mean around school and people around me. I've been called the names throught my disease and I'm pretty sure other diabetics have too. but the best part is when your sitting down somewhere and people know your diabetic and they say "stop eating so much your gonna get diabetes fatass" I mean think about what your saying it's not funny because just for a scientific fact you have to do a lot more than probably what that kids eating to get diabetes, I mean it just annoys the crap out of me. and an about when people see you and say are you injecting drugs?! ... it's a whole entire 5 minutes of me slapping myself in the face after I hear that one. sometimes I even say yes to be sarcastic with them. or just say yes I'm addicted to insulin haha. most the time when your in middle school or high school they get all the kids and gather around in an assembly to where they can discuss rules and such and at one point it says no bullying and watch out for people with pills or diseases and be nice to them so nobody gets offened and it don't work. plus also people starring don't help its called yes I shove this needle in my arm to survive wanna see? Haha sometimes I enjoy it though because it makes me... well it makes me different.
