II - I saw her

Y/N woke up in the morning,  she felt the same breeze through her home, with the same smell of roses and vanilla. She went to the bathroom and did her routine. She found the book with the paper onto the first page of it. Smirking, she took it and toss it into the bin.

The Goddess was there, she watched the girl as she threw the paper. She waited until the girl left the room and picked up the paper from the bin.

Y/N came back, eating from a plastic bowl, she put the book in her bag and put the bag on her back.

The Goddess followed her confused and as she stopped in front of a tall building. She entered the long corridor and The Goddess followed her in. It was full with books.

''Y/N you're back already?'' Y/N walked towards the librarian and nod her head ''Mhm, I wanted to ask some questions about the book and...'' She looked around to be sure no one sees her, she leaned over the desk and kissed the librarian's cheek ''And I wanted to have some quality time with you!''

The Goddess looked as confused as she can be, she walked around and flew through the tall shelves and then back to them.

Y/N sat next to the librarian on a chair and took out her laptop. ''What did you wanted to say about the book?'' The librarian turned to her and Y/N started telling her.

The Goddess looked at them, she sat on the desk and watched and listened to the Y/H/C girl whose name seemed to be Y/N. She watched her lips, her hair and partially her face.

Y/N leaned her back on the chair and fell asleep. And The Goddess took the opportunity to enter her dreams.

The Goddess looked around in Y/N's dreams. Everything was as welcoming as her house.

She saw Y/N sitting on a bench watching kids playing in the grass. And she went closer and closer...until she was facing her, millimeters away. Exploring her face, watching as her eyes direction changed.

Until Y/N's eyes met The Goddess'. Her eyes went large. And let The Goddess confused. ''D-Do I know you?'' They were both in shock and The Goddess jumped from her dream, making Y/N wake up from her sleep. The Goddess blushed deeply, flustered and her heart beating fast she took some steps behind and herself, her body was now visible. She ran fast through the shelves.

''I saw her!'' Y/N yelled, making the librarian turn fast to her ''Her who?'' Y/N took the book and opened it. She tossed it to the librarian with a page where there was a drawing of The Goddess' face ''I saw her!''

They both looked at each other ''Y/N , you are becoming paranoid!'' She shook her head.

The Goddess gathered herself and went again back to them.

''I gotta go'' Y/N took her things and went out fast.

The Goddess followed her again, she looked at the clock and it was already late, late for Y/N, but early for The Goddess.

She ran towards the bus and sat down, there was an empty chair next to Y/N and The Goddess sat on it. She carefully and shyly pushed Y/N's hair to the back of her ear and made Y/N confused.

She looked around but there wasn't anybody. She took the book and read from it. Until the bus stopped in front of her house, she went out, followed by The Goddess directly into her house.

Y/N breathed heavily, and she hugged the book to her chest, letting herself lean against the door and slide on it until her bottom reached the floor.

The Goddess watched her, it was the first time she became this shy and also the first time someone saw her in their dreams.

But she suddenly felt unsafe, she felt scared. The same feeling she had when her mother, Sarai was alive as a ghost, controlled by the devil Minya who was 6 years old.

Why she names that girl The Devil and not herself?

Because that little girl,  she could control ghosts,  and why her mother was a ghost?  Because she fell in love with a human,  his name was Lazlo and like this.. He was able to see her Mother in his dreams..

She used to live with other 4 people,  including Minya,  two girls,  one of them who could control fire, Ruby,  and one of them who could control everything about nature,  and her name was Sarath.  And a boy who could control clouds,  his name was Eril.. And one day as they were the only Gods left.

Her mother wanted to meet her savior.

To meet Lalzo..

They lived in the sky,  and suddenly,  being pushed down by Minya herself,  she fell facing down on a fence.. The fence going through her chest in front of her savior..

And Minya caught her soul,  controlling it,  she gave Lazlo,  her father a lot of business so she can destroy the humans. 

And here she was now,  here was Jennie,  from her parents stories who are unbelievable and also full of disgrace. 

She was the only Goddess left from all of them,  but her mother,  Sarai was the best of them all,  and as the Goddess of Dispair being Sarai,  she got from her all her gifts and even more.

Her Father's human skin.. At that time all The Gods were blue,  because of the Mahalath.

Mahalath was a transformative fog of myth that turns one either into a god or a monster.

Mahalath was a risk that will yield either tremendous reward or disastrous consequence.

And that got her here, her parents and the other Gods destinies.

That's why she is the only one left.  In old books,  they said she,  the only one left was a frightening,  beautiful,  manipulative creature,  not named a God.

But the truth is,  she has all the gifts that all the Gods had before her.
