Chapter 9:Dying to be yours

Rushing to Vador's study "Mykel is dead," she said slamming the door.

"Seems like it," Vador laughed not looking up.

"Did you kill him?" praying to hear a NO she closed her eyes for a second.

"Yes," Vador replied finally looking up at her.

At this point Ava was confused. Did he kill an innocent vampire just because he had called her ugly. It wasn't right,that was a really foolish thing to do.

"Any problem?" He asked.

"What do you mean by any problem? Can't you see that what you did was wrong. Do I really need to start teaching you right from wrong now?!" Ava lamented.

"Do not fucking shout at me," Vador spat standing up. "You know this is the problem with you,you want everything pure and perfect. I am full of shits and you're aware of that. I am not capable of changing my ways,it's how I've been living even before you were born.This is me Ava."

"You are capable of so much more than you think dark lord," Ava replied hitting Vador on his shoulders with her fingers.

"He humiliated you, he humiliated me. He called you ugly and you expect me to just let him live?"

"You disgust me my lord," She said hurrying out of the study

Ava went to see Aleister in his office ,she always went to see him anytime she had problems with Vador,she saw him as a dad
"He killed Mykel," She threw her hands up.

"Yes. So I heard,Vador is a very troubled youth. He will do everything to protect the ones he really care for and sometimes the things he does are always in excess but that's just Vador for you. That is how he expresses himself. Have you heard the story of the dark lord?"

"No," Ava didn't forget the story her mother told her and Emma. She just wanted to here Aleister talk about it?she could never forget the story her mother told her before her whole family was killed. She had thought it was a joke."I think he's trying so hard to be what he's not Alei or is this who he really is?"

"Well,just like you Vador also lost his family in one night and since then the responsibility to protect all vampires was given to him. It's not easy damsel. Everyone is counting on him. One wrong step and it could go all wrong"

"It's normal to engage in responsibilities but what does that have to do with him being dark and the actions he takes without considering anyone else but himself?"

"The dark lord. He didn't create the name, he earned the name. It was given to him. Damsel I really can't explain too deep but know that the crown had darkness attached to it and  Vador had no choice but to bear that darkness along side the crown. Remember he didn't ask for this,it was given to him."

"I'm really trying  to understand him Alei,I swear. I want to be there for him too. I want to help him change"

"Then do just that damsel,don't hesitate. Take your time too."

"And who are we talking about?" Vador asked appearing next to Ava.

"Ah," She gasped at his sudden appearance and touch.

Aleister smiled seeing them together. He knew they were meant for each other.But he didn't know exactly how to tell Vador.

"I have work to do," Aleister said clearing his throat.He was like the second in command so he had to take care of things for Vador and give a report of all  daily activities.you both should take your leave," he smirked.

"Are you really chasing us out Alei?"

"Common Ava,you heard him,dad needs some space," Vador replied sarcastically.

"Do you need anything?" Ava asked as they got to the study.

"I do not wish for a thing but a person," Vador replied.

"And who does my lord wishes for?"Ava asked feeling uncomfortable. Who on earth could he be wishing for.

"You," he teased. "My pretty little damsel,she is all I wish for."

"Right,i wish for you to tell me who you really wish for when you're done messing around"she laughed wanting Vador to repeat himself.

"Have you ever had a lover?" He asked.

"Never," Ava replied shocked at his question.

"Have you taken blood today?" He asked again.

"Yes..." She stammered"I don't like it raw so I mix it with another drink whenever I want to"

Human vampires unlike full blooded vampires had a dislike for taking a bag of blood raw. They would rather take it with another drink like a Pepsi or an apple juice or even with coffee. Anything to avoid taking it alone.

"I know," he replied in a tone which made Ava turn to look at him as she was thinking of him while talking to him."I know everything about you"

If you do then why  can't you see that I'm dying to be yours, Ava said mentally before slapping herself mentally too ,forgetting the fact that the lord could hear her thoughts.

"When was the last time you had sex?" Ava asked regretting her question as soon as it came out of her mouth.

"Today," The lord replied standing up to get Avan.

"Today?!" Ava thought. "He couldn't even lie,I mean doesn't he consider me a woman yet."

Ava noticed the snake had red eyes like the colour of the gem protector on the swords she saw with the guards in the royal house.

"Avan," Ava said carrying the snake"You haven't been coming to my room. Are you mad at me or something?"

"Why would I? When it seem you already prefer my master to me," Avan replied. "I'll be waiting when you both have a quarrel again."

"Oh," Ava swallowed feeling Vador's stare bore into her." We don't often fight that much Avan!" We actually have lots of catching up to do.
How about we go to my room" She opened the door before completely freezing when she heard Vador say.

"I know you're dying to be mine."
