Eventually, I had to make my way to my room. I would be meeting  David and Mark in the evening and had to get ready. My outfit would probably take forty-five minutes to choose alone, then applying makeup, doing my hair, and everything else would add another hour. This all meant that I had to get ready now, being it was already around four o'clock and I was meeting them at five thirty.

My outfit took about as long as planned, but I was happy with it. I have chosen a cute tank top from Pink, which was all black with studded lettering that said "PINK", and a light purple sports bra underneath. I also chose a pair of skinny jeans and some diamond stud earrings to match. I had a nice little necklace on as well, which was holding a flower charm on it. My shoes were plain black and white converse, and I switched white laces for purple ones to match my sports bra.

My hair was being extra crazy, even after brushing it, so I had to put some anti-frizz spray in it and straighten it for a long time. Once it was finally straight, I brushed it out again. I let it lay neatly on my shoulders, so I could show of my long beautiful hair

I quickly whipped out my phone and texted  David, letting him know id be at the coffee shop in about ten minutes. For several minutes afterward, I tried to take several selfies. After taking about fifty if them and deleting every single one, I grabbed my purse and headed for the door.

To my unsurprise, Emerson was right out the door, joined by Felix. Felix's eyes were extremely brown today, and Emerson's were very penetrating, as if probing for an answer he never got. He hadn't asked me anything that I hadn't answered, so he must be looking to tease the piss out if me again. He ran a hand through his dark hair and put on a smirk. I would definitely not be getting away easily.

"Where are you going now, Larissa?" Felix asked, an edge of curiosity and taunting in his voice.

"Yeah girly? Where are you headed to already?" Emerson said, smirking devilishly.

"What do you mean 'already?' It's late in the afternoon." I asked. They both proceeded to look and smirk at me, as if they had a sweet secret kept from me, for only the two of them to know. I knew the conversation wasn't going to go any further and I wasn't going to get anywhere unless I told them where I would be. "I'm going to meet my friend David at the coffee shop nearby, if you must know."

"Andrew? Are you seeing other men?" Emerson teased, but there was more to it than that. I almost sensed some hurt in his eyes, but that couldn't be. He would be jealous before he would ever be hurt over me hanging out with another guy.

"He is gay." I said flatly. I became amused as they both jumped back a but, surprised. "I'm meeting him and his also gay roommate there. Now if I could please get down to my car that would he great."

"How about we tag along?" Felix suggested, expecting me to roll over and accept they would be coming anyways.

"How about absolutely fucking not." I snapped.

"I don't think you really have a choice here." Emerson stepped in, trying to corner me and make me believe that.

I did my slow blink at him, for definitely not the last or the first time, and stood there, unfazed. "I'm sure my best friend and his roommate who are both lacrosse players would beg to differ ."

"What are two lacrosse players gonna do to me and Felix here? We're boxers ya know."

"I'm sure you guys do box, but I don't think you want to find out what they can do. Now please move because they would gladly kick your ass for laying a finger on me, especially the way you did last night."

At this, they seemed to just give up. They tried to smirk and shrug it off like it was no big deal, but I know it was to them. The first girl to ever talk back to them and they haven't gotten a hold over her yet. What a damn shame on their part, yet such a victory on mine. It felt amazing.
