Beam was eating his breakfast in silence when he was approached by Phana and Kit who had just came to the hospital’s canteen to have their breakfast as well.

- You guys are late... Beam stated before he took a sip of his hot black coffee.

- Well, it’s Kit’s fault that we are late... Phana said calmly as he took his seat next to Beam

- Sorry... but I woke up late because someone was interrupting my beauty sleep... Kit frowned and glared at Beam who tittered (giggle) softly.

- Owh... don’t be mad, Kit... I already said that I was sorry... Beam defended himself... He knew that he was partly at fault but he had already apologised.

- I know... I know... Don’t worry... You’re already forgiven... Kit sighed and started eating his chicken sandwich.

(A/N: the same way my Sis forgive me when I spoil unwillingly her stories, but keep puking the wound *sigh* 😓😓)

- Beam... Kit told me about your conversation with him this early morning... Are you completely sure that you have never met that guy before?... Not even once?... Beam nodded his head a couple of times to confirm what he had told Kit.

- That’s weird... Phana leaned back against his chair and stared at Beam curiously... Are sure?... Maybe you had a glimpse of him somewhere before but had a hard time remembering it

- I don’t know, Pha... Maybe I did... If only I knew his name... maybe I can search for him and ask him myself whether he knows me... Beam stated before he finished off his last drop of coffee.

- Try dream of that guy again and this time why don’t you ask him for his name... Kit suggested out of the blue.

- Kit... should I smack your head?... Beam commented as he glared at his friend.

- What?... What did I do that you want to smack me?... Kit was clueless.

- That suggestion...It’s stupid... Beam replied whilst getting up off his chair.

- I know it’s stupid... But who knows if it might work... Kit reassured Beam to try.

- Kit, just stop... I don’t think it will work either... Phana agreed with Beam completely.

- Let’s just drop it, okay... I need to leave for now... I have to make my rounds to check on my patients... I’ll see you guys later for lunch... Beam said whilst pushing his chair under the table.

- Don’t think too much, Beam... Let fate take you to him, if the guy does exist... Phana gave his piece of mind before he let Beam left the table with his shoulders slumped.

Beam tried his best to smile as he checked on his patients... He had to give his best service so he wouldn’t receive any complaints later for being too serious.... Even though he was lucky that all his patients were behaving really nice and listening to what ever they were told... he still couldn’t smile to them liked usual because he was distracted by those dreams.

It was his last patient for that day rounds... Beam went into that room alone without a nurse since he was told that the patient only allowed one person in his room... And since he was one of the VVIP patients, the hospital couldn’t defy his special request and had to let him had his way.

Beam entered the room quietly and he saw that the patient was standing by the window... engrossing himself in whatever he was looking through the window... Beam silently took the guy’s medical file that was hung at the end of the bed and read it thoroughly before he decided to break the silence that had engulfed the room.

- Morning, Mr. Forth... Beam greeted the guy as he read the name on the file... He put his best smile and looked up to the guy who had turned to face him... But as soon as his eyes met with the guy’s gaze, he was totally shocked and immediately dropped the file that he was holding... Y..you.....

The guy came forward and his brows furrowed as he stared at Beam deeply.

- It’s you....You do exist... You are real... The guy uttered in disbelief... making Beam more shocked after he heard his statement.
