Chapter 11

Beam realised that Forth was about to kiss him... He began to shiver as Forth’s face was getting closer and closer every seconds but before Forth was able to capture his lips, Beam took that opportunity and quickly shoved a spoon of his food into Forth’s mouth and smacked Forth’s hand off his face.

- Stop doing this... Please eat your food, not my lips... And can you please stop interrupting me... I’m trying to eat... If I don’t eat, I will get really cranky and I definitely going to leave this room so I can eat my food peacefully... Beam nagged before he continued eating his food diligently.

Forth cupped his mouth quickly... He wanted to laugh so badly but he was afraid that he might spat the food out of his mouth... He leaned back against the headbed and quickly chewed his food before he swallowed it down through his throat... Then, he let out a soft laugh as he watched Beam eating whilst glaring at him.

- Gosh...You’re so engaging... Forth couldn’t help but smiled... He really loved Beam’s personality so far... He wondered what else that Beam would show him in the future.

- Why are you not eating?... Beam furrowed his brows when he noticed that Forth wasn’t eating at all except for the food that he had shoved in Forth’s mouth earlier.

- I’m not hungry... I’m full just watching you eat.

- That’s bullshit... Pardon my choice of words, but let’s be honest, okay, there’s no human being can feel full just by watching another person eating... If that can happen, there will be no more people who die because of hunger... Beam pointed out to Forth.

- You probably right.

- Then start eating your food... As your personal doctor, I command you to eat. Or else...

- You will leave the room... I get it, Dr. Beam... Forth chortled and took his spork... Err... If you’re still hungry, you can take half of my food as well.

- Thanks, but no thanks... I have enough already... I only want to satisfy my hunger, not to fatten my body... Beam remarked sarcastically.

- You do have a sharp tongue... Forth commented before he began to eat his food.

- Me?.. Sharp tongue?.. Let’s see... Beam touched his tongue and then looked at his fingers... My fingers are not bleeding so that means my tongue is not sharp at all.

Forth couldn’t hold in his laughter... He spluttered his half chewed food before he could cover his mouth and he felt really embarassed because some of the food had smeared Beam’s white robe.

- I’m really sorry... So sorry... Shit!... This is so embarassing... Forth quickly took some wet wipes that were provided by the hospital and tried to clean up the mess that he made especially the ones on Beam’s robe.

- Well this is nothing... I’m a doctor... Some of my patients even vomit on my robe... After all, it’s not completely your fault for this to happen... If I haven't said something stupid, you might not had spat food at me... Beam said whilst smiling widely at Forth.

Forth mouth agape and he was stunned to see Beam’s beautiful smile... That cute doctor was practically glowing because of that beautiful smile.

- Mr. Forth, please come back to earth... I know I have a beautiful smile, but I want to talk to a person not a statue... Beam said as he laughed at Forth’s funny reaction... He shook his head and pushed Forth to sit back on the bed whilst Beam took over the task and cleaned up the table and the bed... Then, he grabbed Forth’s spoon and began to feed his patient who was still lost for words.
