Soulmates Book#1 : Forth-Beam Story

Chapter 14

Beam began to worry as he arrived at the hospital that morning... He quickly called Phana and Kit to cancel their meeting for breakfast because he had to go to Forth... He had received a call from the hospital regarding Forth who had had a panic attack and Beam had to be there immediately because Forth kept yelling that he wanted to see Beam.

Beam had ran all the way from the parking lot to Forth’s room and when he arrived in that room, he saw Forth was being held on his bed by four men to stop him from hurting himself... The senior nurse who was there as well had failed to inject Forth with sedative because she couldn’t even get closer to Forth... The guy was moving too violently and the nurse was afraid that it might cause the needle to break.

Beam knew that he had to do something to help Forth... He quickly climbed up the bed and hovered over Forth as he cupped Forth’s face and forced the guy to look into his eyes.

- Mr. Forth... calm down... It’s me, Dr. Beam... I’m here now... I’m here... Please take a deep breath and calm yourself... Beam said to Forth who was breathless since he had been struggling and fighting with the four men to release himself from being apprehended.

- Dr. Beam... Forth’s stern expression had softened once he saw Beam was there in front of him... He started to calm down and stopped moving abruptly... He fell back against the mattress and began to take a deep breath.

- All of you can leave now and please lock the door behind you... Beam instructed the four men and the nurse to leave the room as he looked down at Forth who had tears coming out from his eyes.

(Sarang: Dr. Beam lock the door... I don't think is time for that yet... Didn't you said you weren't at that stage 😏😍😘)

- Mr. Forth... What is going on?... Why are you behaving this way?... Why were you having a panic attack?... Beam asked softly as he pulled Forth to sit up straight and embraced the vulnerable guy firmly.

Beam gently rubbed Forth’s back repeatedly to soothe the guy... He felt his heart shattered as he heard Forth was literally crying on his shoulder whilst embracing Beam’s small body.

- Forth... please tell me what’s wrong?... Let me help you... Beam had decided to drop the honorific and called Forth by his name only... as he asked the guy the reason he acted that way.

- Dr. Beam... I don’t have those same dreams anymore... I have lost those dreams... Is this mean I’m going to lose you too in real life?... Forth asked in his raspy voice.

- What do you mean that you have lost them?... Beam was confused.

- I’ve followed your order and slept but when I woke up... I realised that I didn’t dream of you at all.

Beam froze instantly... Those words make him think... He had just realised that he too didn’t dream of Forth last night... He pulled back and looked deeply into Forth’s eyes as he wiped the tears away.

- Forth... I didn’t dream of you as well, last night... Beam replied softly.

- I don’t know about you but I can’t live without those dreams because I’m so deeply in love with you in those dreams.

( Sarang : you do realize that you got the real one now? 😒😒)

- Forth... why do you want to be in love with me in those dreams when you can be in love with me in the real world?... Beam asked rhetorically.

Forth was stupefied.

Think rationally Forth... Why do you think that we lost those dreams?

( Sarang : ☝️exactly what I mean... You can't take it back Beam 😏)

- Forth shrugged and furrowed his brows as he tried to find the most logical reason... I really don’t know, Dr. Beam.

- Beam sighed and sat down next to Forth... I don’t know either... But from my own point of view, I think that happened because we have found each other in the real world.

- Dr. Beam...

- Call me, Beam, not Dr. Beam... It’s too formal... Beam suggested.

- Beam... is this mean.......
