"So, are you and Draw officially a thing, or?" Zenix inquired. "You've been hanging out a ton with her."

"No, we're just friends. This is a game, remember?" Gene didn't meet Zenix's eyes. "If I ask her out, I lose."

"So if your pride wasn't on the line, you'd ask her out?" Sasha asked.

"Well-" Gene began

"Good afternoon, Genie." Threw her arms over his shoulders and kissed his cheek. "How is your lunch?"

Gene moved over and let Draw sit next to him. He kissed her cheek a few times before responding.

"Great now that you're here." Gene pressed another kiss to Draw's cheek. "You're so pretty." Gene ran a hand through Draw's hair.

"You're so handsome." Draw placed a kiss on the corner of Gene's lips.

"Yeah... Totally not together." Zenix teased. "You two are so cute together!"

Draw started to blush and Gene glared at him. Zenix broke out laughing.

"Alright, alright." Sasha rolled her eyes. "So this is a game, you said? What kind of game is this?"

"Basically, we act all couplely for a while. There's a list to follow, no time limit or very specific instructions. It ends whenever one of us decides to break off or when one of us confesses. Which ever comes first." Draw explained. "So whenever Gene admits."

"Woah! Who said that I'd be the loser?" Gene defensively asked.

"Me! I never lose!" Draw quickly kissed Gene's lips before standing up and walking away.

"Hit or miss? I guess she doesn't miss, hu?" Zenix taunted. Sasha smacked him up side the head, earning a chuckle from Gene.

"So, Gene, think you can get her to lose?" Sasha asked.

"Probably. Just a few more days. She'll admit she lost before summer break starts."

Draw hugged Gene and buried her face in his chest. Gene rubbed circles into her back and asked her what was wrong.

"... I have to spend the summer with my father again." Draw whimpered.

"Some father's are the shittiest people alive." Gene kissed Draw's forehead. "You'll be fine, I'm sure of it."

"I at least get to cut my hair again." Draw broke from the hug.

"You like your hair short?"

"Sort of. It's more so that I'm used to it. I didn't have hair past my shoulders until I was twelve. My mom makes me grow it out."

Gene ruffled Draw's hair. "You'd look cuter than usual."

"You do realize we have to end this game soon, right? I mean, summer vacation is in a week or so..." Draw sounded upset.

Gene bit his lip. Draw either really wanted to stop the game, or didn't want to hurt him.

"Then admit you lost." Gene shrugged.

"I don't lose."

Gene leaned against the locker, trapping Draw. He leaned closer to her and smirked.

"Just this once you can lose." Gene closed the gap between them.

Draw wrapped her arms around Gene's neck and kissed back.

Gene broke and chuckled. "You may not lose, but I'm done with losing. This game isn't over until you admit you lost."

"Don't do this to yourself. You'll just end up getting hurt in the end." Draw growled.
