Chapter2:cousins

We landed behind a big mall and sat against the wall of the building.

" what now. We've lost the safe. Our home. Toby did the others get out look through one. " angle said

" yah their hiding in homes and stuff. They'll be fine" he said

" ok but were the ones they followed they could be at our homes. Look I have enough money to for us all to have at least...um,..$60 " he said handing us each a pile of money. " get supplies in the store. We each get a backpack though ok. "

" ok" we replied.

Angle folded in her wings and we walked to the front and into the mall. Then we agreed to meet up in an hour. I bought a nice black backpack that was a good size and could hold a lot of stuff. Them I bought a first aid kit and some extra clothes. Just a few, since i know angle will spend most of her money in clothes. Then I bought a nice phone that only need up costing me 40 bucks cause the guy who ran the shop was blind and half deaf so I took that onto an advantage. I bought a few more stuff and met John Toby and angle outside. Angle got clothes in a pink backpack, John got us radios and stuff, Toby got sleeping bags and two tents he stuffed into a big bag. Then we walked around for a bit and used the extra money to get something to eat at a restaurant called burger burger. Then sat at a table in a park.

" ok. We have to find out about those men. How did they know about us. What if someone was a spy or a traitor or something. " John said

" johns right" angle said

" yah. But we have to be careful if they get us. We don't know what or why they want us" Toby said

" yo Cj why are you so quiet and what are you looking at" John said

I just stared I the distance.

" Toby, Toby those men over there the tall ones in the fancy suits what are they looking at" I asked him

" one sec." He said

He said their for a little while. Then his face went pale white and serious.

" guys calmly get up and slowly walk away " he said grabbing his bag and standing up.

" why?" I asked

" they are looking at our profiles and it says our powers" he said

We slowly got up and walked away pretending to talk. I turned around like I was stretching and saw them following us.

" they're following us." I said in concern

Then I noticed my friends had stopped. When I looked up we were surrounded by men in suits. We put our hands up as they forced us into a van.

" ok, with one of you is Cj?" The man said

I looked up in concern

" um...me?" I said

Ok.

" why?" I asked

" we have files on who you are and you concern us the most out of the other people like you" he said

" why. Why do you know stuff I don't even know about me. " I said

" it's because of who your cousin is" he said
" who? My cousin, I didn't know I had one" I said

" yes you do. And he is very powerful and dangerous. One of our greatest criminals." He said

" he has powers! What are they" angle asked

She always wanted to know everything.

" control over the dead" he said

What did he just say.
