Kiarra and I walked around the city for a little while. Then we sat down at Taco Bell to talk.

" so, fire power......cool" I said

" I love it. But I burned myself a whole bunch trying to master it. " she said

We giggled a little bit. Our food came ten minutes later.

" why were they after you. They were after me two, but I scared me off. I know about the safe and stuff, but I knew someone would find out about it. So I didn't come, also I live a little far away. But how did they find out about us?" She asked

" spies in the safe. Others went to stay in homes and stuff. They only followed y friends and I. We split up though so it would be harder to catch us" I said

" what!" She almost yelled a whisper " that's the stupid thing ever. Now you apart, weaker, together your stronger. We need to find your friends. Just so you know, I'm am not in the humans side. I'm am in Draco's side" she said

" Draco?" I asked

" he's the most powerful and feared mutant of all. With him as a leader, we can win, and be free from the humans" she said

" what's his power?" I asked

" control over the dead!" She said

Draco is cousin! And he's leading a war against the humans!!

" ok, well I know where my friends will be they are hanging out together for a week. How can we get to them. They are like three miles away?" I asked

" by that" she said

I followed her finger to past the bushes. Where I saw a massive, colorful, hot air ballon. I looked at her as she made a flame in her hand.

" I think I can get us there" she said

I smiled brightly. We are going to ride on a hot air ballon for three miles and then we get to pick up my friends.

" ok, but where will we go after that" I asked

" well go to Draco's camp. We'll meet him there and you guys can take refuge" she said

I will finally get to meet my cousin. But. What will he do if he finds I can control shadows, and willingly control there owners. Will he use me? Or will he help me? Whatever I don't care. Let's get ready to get that hot air balloon!
