FIVE MOONS LATER, SARELLA WAS HEAVILY WITH CHILD. She had been with child for two moons when she found out, and so after five more, she was only two moons away from birthing her child.
Aegon had become even more worried, and so had she. She could not do anything. Aegon brought her all of her meals, and she had a chair seated at the painted table for when they went over the state of the realm. Aegon also ordered that at least one person be with her at all times to help her around. She thought that was a bit much.
They decided to set their plan into motion the day after the fifth moon.
Aegon sent a raven to Harlan Tyrell, telling him of the plan. Harlan agreed to it and in turn sent a raven to Lenore Lannister, asking if he might wed one of his daughters to her son, who she had named Loren after her brother.
The boy was of age, and Lenore agreed. They set a date for the wedding, and once Aegon received word that they had left to go to Highgarden, Aegon began their march to Casterly Rock.
Sarella hated that she could not go.
She met him at the shoreline, where it seemed that everyone had vacated for the time being to give them privacy. Aegon stood with his arms open, and she walked right into them.
"I love you," she whispered, as if there were people around to hear. "I love you beyond all reason."
"And I love you," he whispered back. "More than the moon loves the stars in the night sky."
"Come back to me," she continued, "Promise that you will come back to me."
He had a pained look in his eye, as if he knew that this was a promise he may not be able to keep. Still he told her, "I promise."
A tear fell down her cheek, and Aegon leaned forward, pressing his lips to the spot where the tear landed. "Do not cry, my love. Please do not cry."
"Just kiss me, Aegon."
"As you wish."
He kissed her softly, tenderly. Handling her gently because if he did not, she would shatter in his arms. But she wanted that last taste of him, so she kissed him firmly, savouring the feeling of his lips on hers.
When she stepped away, she wiped away her tears and let out a short laugh. "Perhaps when you see me next, I will not be such a mess."
"You know that I do not care about that."
"I know." She glanced over to where Orys Baratheon now stood, ready to board their ship. Sarella looked upon the man she had hated for so long, and sighed. "Keep him safe, Orys."
"Always, Princess." He inclined his head to her, offering nothing but the promise to keep her lover— no, husband— safe.
She toyed with the ring on her finger as she watched Aegon's men board the ship. The Dornish Dragon, it was called. Aegon named her that on their wedding night, moons ago, then named the ship that, only days ago.
"I will be home soon," Aegon promised, offering a smile.
"You had better be."
"I could never leave my wife alone for very long." He brushed a piece of her hair that had escaped its braid behind her ear. "Especially while she is with child."
"I know." She nodded and let a sigh leave her lips. "Go get justice. For Rhaenys, and for Myles."
"It will be my great honour, my Queen." A shiver ran through her. She never tired of hearing him call her that.
"Aegon," Orys called from the ship, "We should get going, if you want to make it to the land by nightfall."
"I will be right there," Aegon replied. Orys nodded and disappeared again, gone into the ship.
"I will be here when you return," Sarella promised when he turned back to look at her.
"I love you." He pressed a kiss to her forehead, then both of her cheeks, then her lips.
"I love you, too." When he pulled away from her lips, he gave her hand a squeeze, and was gone.

They told her it had been a victory. Aegon's group travelled to Casterly Rock and captured the castle. The second group lead by Jayne, small and disguised as Tyrell bannermen, killed all of the Lannister men and captured Lenore and her son.Lenore was to be brought back to Dragonstone to be executed beside her son. The lady had a daughter as well, small and non troublesome, and while there Aegon named her the lady of Casterly Rock and Warden of the West.
That was what the raven sent to Sarella had told her. It also told her, though, that Aegon had been injured in the fighting. How badly, it did not say. Instead it left her to worry until Aegon's return.
He did not return until a week after she received that raven, and she did not know that he was back until he walked through the doors to the room with the painted table. The door swung open and hit the wall with a loud bang, and her head turned sharply to see Aegon leaning against the doorframe, a bandage wrapped around his head and torso.
She could not run to him, but she walked as fast as she could into his arms. She embraced him gently, as to not hurt him.
"Are you all right?" Were the first words from her lips.
"Fine," he grunted. "I'm fine."
"All I heard was that you had been hurt and I. . . I thought the worst. I could not stop worrying."
"I promised you I would return, did I not?"
She smiled. "You did."
"Is the child all right?"
"About ready to come out, I would say." Aegon shifted and made a pained sound, and she took his arm. "Come, there is plenty of time to talk later. I should get you to the maester."
"I can go myself, love," he muttered. "You should not be straining yourself."
"I will accompany you, at the very least. I have not seen my husband in weeks, I believe I am entitled."
"As you wish, my Queen." He relented, and she walked alongside him as he told her of the past weeks.
And Sarella sighed contentedly, a sense of peace filling her. It was over. It was finally, finally over. Perhaps now, they could be at peace. Perhaps now, they could be husband and wife, they could raise their child and be happy. Finally.
