Starri's Story

Prologue

This is the story of a peculiar girl, a half-breed between a Darkner and a Lightner. Her mother was a monster, a Lightner, but her father came from the kingdom Underground, a commoner Darkner among the rest who fell in love with the woman who could visit them in her dreams. But this story isn't about them. This one is about a hybrid monster named Starri Error.
Her last name wasn't Error because her parents believed she was a mistake, no no no. Quite the opposite, in fact. To her parents, she was the best thing that had ever happened to them. Even when her father supposedly died of reasons unknown to them, Starri's mother never gave up hope, never lost her joy, because as long as she still had her little Starri Error, her life was complete. Starri inherited two things each from her parents, her partly Lightner SOUL from her mother, the Darkner part from her father, the ability to visit the Kingdom of Darkness in her dreams, and her immense magical energy. Her mother trained her to control her powers very early, which was crucial for any young monster living on the surface. She started getting glimpses of the Underground kingdom in her dreams, learning by herself how to stay there and interact with others in her Darkner form.

Now, we go to Starri years later in middle school, 8th grade, 15 years old. She was a wallflower and a daydreamer, often getting more info about people by looking in from the outside than interacting with them and unintentionally falling asleep in class sometimes and ending up in the Darkner's world, where she really wanted to be instead of school. She'd often meet up with a charming little prince named Ralsei, who was so sweet and kind to everyone he met. Every time she thought about him, she'd end up just closing her eyes and daydreaming about them just spending time together like the close friends they are. She didn't know why her face heated up with a blush every time he was close to him or when he cared for her injuries, however she got them, or why she was so concerned every time he was feeling unwell or hurt himself. She didn't know that the most interesting pair in the class, quiet, antisocial Kris Dreemurr and the aggressive school bully, Susie Langham(that's not her actual last name I just came up with that I actually don't know her last name someone hELP-), also visited this special world on one occasion. Miss Alphys had sent them out to get some chalk but Starri was so bored she didn't bother to stay awake and unconsciously decided to visit Ralsei a.k.a sleep.

WELP AUTHOR~CHAN FINALLY UPDATES/MAKES ANOTHER STORY THAT SHE PROBABLY WILL NEVER FINISH :D XD Anyway as you've probably already figured out, this is a story about my Deltarune Oc, Starri(her actual name)/Erre(as the Lightners/nearly everyone who lives on the surface know her). I'll be regularly updating this story on Google Docs but I can't say the same for Wattpad... ANYWAY HOPE YOU ENJOY WHAT I'LL POST OF THIS *cue me immediately forgetting to post this and procrastinate on finishing the next/first legit chapter*
