The Vampire's Smile (Natsu x Reader) [ON HOLD]

He pulls me out of the room by my hand and leads me to a rather large library in the house. I see him looking around frantically and he finally sees who he's looking for.

"Levy!" He shouts and rushes up to her with me in tow

"What is it Natsu?" She asks nicely.

"This!" He says loudly and shows her his neck

"What's wrong? I don't see anything unusual.....wait. Why are they red but healed? And why do yours match hers?!" She shouts and looks extremely shocked

"I don't know! That's what I need you to find out for me. Please Levy. I know you can find out what's going on." Natsu says firmly

"I'll do my best boss but it will take a little time. I will let you know as soon as I find something." She says with a smile and gets up. "Hmm. Identical marks. Both red...." she mumbles. "Do you guys feel any different or weird at all?" She asks and we shake our heads no. "Hmm..." she hums and walks along the books.

"How about I still show you around?" Natsu sighs

"Sounds good to me." I smile. "You know you never let go of my hand right? Not that I'm complaining. Just saying." I say shyly and blush.

"I am?" He asks and I squeeze his hand. "I am. I didn't notice." He says shocked and let's go making me frown. "Didn't want me to let go?" He asks with amusement

"I didn't. I felt very relaxed." I admit and he takes my hand again making me smile.

"Come on. I'll show you everything." He says with a smile. He leads me around the house and points everything out. "You were right about us being rich. We've lived for centuries and have made millions in businesses. Your idea of opening a blood bank is perfect for us. We won't have to hunt anymore and we can open up dozens of them." He says with a big smile.

"I'm happy I can help. I know with that idea I'll be saving my friends lives. Everyone was so scared of you guys for obvious reasons."

"That's how it should be. They need to fear us. We are stronger than them and more powerful. We are the predators and they are the prey." He says firmly and with what sounds like pride.

"So if I didn't ask to join you were just going to kill me?" I ask nervously

"Well, yeah. You looked and smelled absolutely delicious and you tasted delicious." He says with a smile and licks his lips. "I was drawn to you from the moment I smelled your sweet scent. I observed you for days, watching and listening and waiting for the perfect opportunity."

"I remember seeing you at my window last night. You scared me but something about your smile drew me in. Then when I saw you completely I was drawn in even more. But I had made up my mind before I even saw you that I wanted to join because I didn't want to die." I tell him seriously but with emotion in my voice.

"I'm glad you said something. You deserve to be one of us. The bravery you showed tonight is proof of that. Plus, now I get to experience you all the time. You still look and smell delicious to me and now that I've tasted you I want more." He says with a seductive yet serious tone.

"Natsu. Your making me nervous." I say nervously and move away.

"Sorry." He says with a sigh. "I know I can't indulge in you a lot because it'll hurt you and I don't want that." He says as he comes up to me and wraps his arms around me. "Your scent is amazing. Why?" He asks softly and inhales deeply

"I don't know." I giggle and hug him firmly.

"We should go. There's more to show you and explain." He says suddenly and let's go making me pout. "You're cute when you pout. Stop it." He says with amusement and touches my lower lip "Come on."
