It was a cold night, Leila a brown haired brown eyed manager was walking through the snow in Tacoma, Washington. She just finished work and was exited to get home. Looking around Leila thought to herself nothing ever happens in Tacoma. Holiday spirit was in the air, people putting up their trees, lights, and lighting the menorah. Leila looked at all the other houses and said to herself
" I never have the time, all of these people aren't managers at Poise the most prestigious cosmetic company."
Leila walked into her house, the floors were pearly white tile she took off one of her boots and the other. She picked up her boots and aligned them perfectly. Leila took her coat off and precisely put her coat on the hanger and in to the armoire.
" Hi Mother, sorry it's so late I was..." said Leila.
" Working." said Jane, Leila's mother
" I am so tired I'm going to go to bed." Jane exclaimed
" Wait, I have to fire Erick and I don't know how?" Leila replied
" Well I'm sure you could ask your non-existing husband." said Jane
"Mom stop pitying me." replied Leila
"Rip The bandaid it's The it's the only way quick and easy."
" Leila, I'm off to bed." yawned Jane
"Goodnight." exclaimed Leila
They both went into their bedrooms and shut their doors. Leila walked over to her queen sized bed with blue sheets that were left the way they were in the morning she got changed into her pyjamas and got into her bed.
Leila started to wake up, her eyes blinking, she looked to her left and turned hitting her head on the nightstand and screamed.
"Erick what are you doing in my bed!"
" We're married Leila why are you up so early?" said Erick
"Somethings wrong I am not married and I should be working at Poise!" Leila replied
"Honey you haven't worked at Poise for 8 years after you sold the company, we have been married for 8 years,do I need to take you to the doctor?" Erick Explained
Leila said " where are we working now?"
Erick replied " Ever since you sold Poise we haven't worked a day we're financially perfect One Billion Dollars is what's left."
"Oh I remember now I guess I'm really tired." Leila exclaimed
"But we got 13 hours of sleep." replied Erick as Leila walked to the bathroom
Leila stepped into the bathroom and brushed her teeth, afterwards she walked down the stair case and felt nauseous, she then walked into the kitchen to see her mother making Bacon and Eggs.
"Eggs are disgusting. " Leila said
Jane replied " You ate them yesterday are you okay you loved cake on Thursday but on my birthday you said cake makes you feel sick."
Leila responded " I have been having cramps and none of my dresses fit only the baggy tops and sweatpants."
Jane replied" I'm going to get Erick to take you to the Doctor."
Leila sighed " No, I don't even know him."
Jane looked Leila in the eye and said " You couldn't fire him because you loved him!"
Leila stared directly at her mother and conceded "Fine."
Leila walked to the garage and saw 2 cars expensive and beautifully designed
Leila gasped "WOW!"
Erick insisted they take the blue Porsche to the doctor. Leila got in the car fastened her seatbelt as Erick did the same and they were off.
" Hi Leila, I haven't seen you in a while." said the Doctor
"Hi who are you?" said Leila
" Noel, Noel Harrison but you can call me Doctor, Miss, Noel, Lady whatever your comfortable with you must be shaken up from the morning but,"
"You're pregnant about a month!" said the Doctor
"Leila were going to have a child!" replied Erick
"No I want my life back!" Leila screamed
"Leila, Leila,Leila wake up you're going to be late!" said Jane
"Mom am I pregnant?" inquired Leila
"Leila what has gotten into you yesterday you got home late and said that you had to fire someone." replies Jane
"Okay I must be worried about firing Erick." said Leila
