Since a few weeks ago, I tried to use Photoshop after choosing which story that I would make a new cover. What a shame. I felt numb again. My creativity juice which was already lacking seemed refused to flow from my head. I stared at the Photoshop canvas for about five minutes before pressing the 'cross' button. Just... no.
But, lucky me! Since yesterday, I gained my composure and idea back. So, after doing myself a favour by deciding the major genre in this story, I managed to design the new cover.
This time, I added Tomochika and Masato. Not only because they are also important in this story but also, I don't want people out there who ship Tokiya and Otoya to think that this is a BL story (someone thought that this is a BL story before). I don't support yaoi, yuri or any sorts of relationships that aren't F/M. So, please... read the summary first.
Okay, back to the cover. Since this story has a heartless antagonist, it took a while for me to create a suitable mood. How's that supposed to be? Is it greyish or... has png blood image? I hope it doesn't look like a horror story. Tbh, my designing skill is still terrible and I still don't have an artistic sense until now. Browsing Tomochika's picture is hard too because she's originally a sweet friend for Haruka with a bright personality and suddenly in this story, I turned her into a very evil one lol.
And then, today, in a short time, I managed to make the new one for this book:D
I really wanted Chihaya Ayase from Chihayafuru (I think I will continue making her as my icon) to be on the cover but I couldn't find the right one so I decided to put someone with a yukata or kimono and here we go, Matsuoka Gou and her friend. :D I know there were a lot of things that just didn't blend together but... Nah, just let it be. This is just a hobby anyway and I might change the cover again.
