One day...

Zhan Zheng Xi POV

"Have you finished copying the homework? We have to turn it in next period." says Jian Yi. He sitting across from me reading a magazine.

"Almost." I say as a speed up a bit. Since the desks are so small our knees are almost touching. Not that I mind but I find myself getting distracted.

"Also, remember to change the wording of few questions. Otherwise the teacher will notice." He says without looking up from his magazine. I know copying isn't acceptable but it was just to much work this time. I was genuinely surprised when Jian Yi said he had finished it. Usually he is copying off me, it makes me concerned for his grades. Although that's not my place to worry. Something hitting my lap pulls me out of my thoughts. Jian Yi's foot is resting there. I look up at him and then around the class. Sure enough our classmates are giving us those wide eyes look. His foot is uncomfortably close to 'that area' which makes it extremely hard for me not to tense up.

"This week's magazine issue's pretty good~." Why is he acting so normal? It's not a normal thing to rest your feet on someone. I want to say something but he is letting me copy his homework. I decide to focus on the task at hand, letting my body relax.

Jian Yi POV

"Have you finished copying the homework? We have to turn it in next period." I have turned my chair around so I can face him. Every now and then our knees bump together. It's not like Zhan Zheng Xi to not have the homework done. Usually I'm the one copying off of him. I liked the look on his face when he asked. He looked sheepish and a bit embarrassed.

"Almost." He says starting to write a little bit faster.

"Also, remember to change the wording of few questions. Otherwise the teacher will notice." I know he already knows this but I want to make sure. I eye him over my magazine. The way he gets completely absorbed by whatever he is doing is enticing. I kick my shoe off to the side and gently put my foot on his lap. I look back at my magazine as he looks up at me and then around the room. I'm sure people are starring but I don't pay them any mind. "This week's magazine issue's pretty good~." I say trying to advert his attention. To my surprise he doesn't say anything and let's my foot be.
