Double the Trouble (Continue of My Emo Best Friend)

Chapter 17

Right when we got in the wolf Palace, I was tackled by the Royal twins.

"Lunamon! We've missed you!" Sapher said between miserable tears. I looked down at her, sympathetic and worried.
"What's wrong?" I asked. Dom looked concerned as well.
Mindreader looked down and shook his head sympathetic. "Lucas is gone, Lunamon."
I flinched, "Gone?"
Sapher nodded and broke in a wail. "He's dead Lunamon! Lucas is dead!"
Dom stiffened, shocked. I ran towards her. I couldn't believe it. Lucas was the first Dog Hybrid that I was able to befriend, Redix doesn't count. Even though Lucas was gay, he was friendly and kind.

"I am so sorry." Dom said quietly. I nodded, too shocked to speak. I noticed Dom was worried. I knew what she thought; what if Mom was going to be killed too?
"I found him bleeding. Someone shattered glass above his head." Mindreader said furiously, "I tried to track them down, but instead I kept getting a weird fuzz. It was torture. One of the mind controlled hybrids."
Dom looked at him desperately. "Was it Estellar? Where is she?" Her eyes flared sadness and anger. Mindreader shook his head and shrugged. Then he shot up. Mindreader flicked his ears, as if he was listening to something.

"Azm! You must get out of here!" He yelled. Dom stiffened.
"Why? What I do?" She asked, worried.
Mindreader panicked. "They are going to arrest you for mind controlling the Hybrids!" Sapher jumped.
"I completely forgot!" She yelped.
Dom angered. "What! I didn't do it!"
Mindreader nodded, panicking. "I know, I can read your mind. But they won't listen. We must get you out of here now!" I panicked, I surely didn't want to loose my second parent.
I quickly changed to a wolf and began running. Dom looked down at me surprised as she rode on my back. Sapher and Mindreader exchanged faces, but said nothing.
"I'll lead the way!" Sapher growled. I nodded. I shook, totally was not used to run on all fours. And I still was having trouble to fly. My wings laid helplessly besides me. Mindreader looked around, scanning for minds.

"Over here." Sapher signalled.
"Wait no-" Mindreader exclaimed. But it was too late. Stalorihan was already there, leading a pack of wolves. We turned around. There were wolves there too. We were surrounded.
"Fly!" Mindreader growled. I shook my head.
"I don't know how!" I cried. Dom looked at me, terror shown in her eyes.
"Stop this instant, Azm!" Stalorihan growled, "You are under arrest! Give up, dirt bag!" I growled, but Dom gave me a look. I flapped my wings.
"Their getting away!" A wolf cried. It jumped, I thought her was going to break my wings!
"No!" Mindreader roared and jumped to fight back the wolf. A couple of wolf soldiers went after, but Sapher tackled them. I flapped higher.
"No!" Stalorihan growled standing up in two. Stalorihan was a huge Alpha wolf. She almost had me. Dom glared at her.
"You only want to take Estellar from me." She hissed, "But I won't let that." I didn't know that.
"What should I do?" I said helplessly.
"Fight back." Dom ordered. I looked down. Sapher and Mindreader were already backed down. Kristena was already there as well in the battle. Christopher was no where to be found.

Then the biggest wolf of all came forward. It was Evxeor, his eyes glowed dangerously red, but to make things worst, Fred and Mom were with him!
"Estellar!" Dom yelled desperately.
"Eddie." Stalorihan corrected furiously. Dom shot her a hateful glare. Stalorihan looked around, "Look she did do it! So He even ordered them to come here!" The soldiers nodded. Mom growled and slain three of them without noticing. Stalorihan's eyes went wide, as if she didn't expect that.

Use the staff! Furball's voice echoed. I figured since Stalorihan didn't have the staff, she wasn't able to control them properly. They were furious killers now. Dom looked at Mom, tears rolling out of her eyes. I saw it too; even under that murderous wolf, she was still there. Helping them. Though killing the attackers wasn't her way of doing that.

I flew forward and smacked Stalorihan. The huge white wolf looked down at me with furious grey eyes. I also realized Dom wasn't on my back anymore. She fell where Mom was.
"Are you crazy! She isn't herself!" I yelled. Stalorihan swatted me away with her paw.
"She's hurt, Lunamon!" Dom cried. I understood her sadness, but she's too obsessed. I flew down towards her and dragged Mom away before she could do anything to Dom. Mom growled and spung around to attack me. I ducked in time. The scratch on my face began to burn.
I ducked another swing of claws. I was too distracted to notice where Dom was. I be gan to worry. I didn't want to fight Mom. I did realize she was hurt. Her wolf belly was covered in blood. A few bruises were visable through her fur. And she walked in pain.
That's when it hit me. WHO DARE HURT AND TOUCH HER! I snarled, looking up at Stalorihan, YOU! IT WAS YOU, A DISGUSTING RAPER WHO GETS SAVED ONLY BY BEING ROYALTY! It was unfair! The other wolves were trapped for being themselves! Stalorihan deserved worst! I wanted to cry in Mom's fur, but it wasn't the time.
I flew out towards Stalorihan. "I HATE YOU!" Stalorihan glared at me. I realized my shadow, it looked like Darkness' wolf pelt, that looked allot like Mom's. I slashed Stalorihan's nose.
Stalorihan roared, "I hate you too!" She tackled me. I was squished by a huge white wolf. I realized the wolf hybrids had gotten Dom.
"NO!" I yelled, kicking Stalorihan's stomach. She grunted, coughing out blood. I flew towards Dom, but some wolves had managed to throw chains around me. Dom looked at me horrified, and she gave up. I battled against the chains. "LET ME GO YOU STUPID FURBALLS!" The wolves didn't. Dom began to struggle against the Hybrids, but she was no match to wolf strength.
The world began to fade, No I can't pass out now! I thought, fighting against the chains. I saw Kristena passed out on the floor. Mindreader was pinned down by many soldiers. Sapher was stuck under Stalorihan's paw.
"Lunamon! I'ma be alright!" Dom yelled.
"No I can't let you go!" I screamed, fainting.
"Here!" She said. I gasped, it was her necklace. I tried to reach it but I was pulled away. Then a white blur went and snatched it.

But she needs it! I thought while the world around me disappeared.
