"I don't know. There was this man that robbed me of my clothes and apparently my good name!"

"Wait so that's just some foreigner?!"

"Apparently so, I'm sorry I did not catch you're name fair maden"

"Oh right, where are my manners? I am Prin--" she cut herself off. What if this really isn't the Prince and HE'S the imposter? "Think Jalix think." She told herself. "How can you find out if this in fact is the real Prince of the Southern Isles?" Just then it hit her like a snowball that isn't really snow but ice so technically an ice ball.

"Where is your mother currently being housed? Your brother as well." She knew the answers to this already because only the people of great power in both the Southern Isles and Northern Summit knew about their whereabouts.

"My mother is currently being housed in a secret building in our castle while my brother is in the village under cover."

"Oh so you ARE in fact the Prince of the Southern Isles." He gave her a puzzled look and said:

"Well that IS what I told you"

"Well that IS what your robber told me too"

"Oh right..." there was a long pause before the Princess said:

"Wait so how do you know what a villager looks like and that THIS" she gestured to herself "isn't it?"

"Well I have been living with the villagers from the time of my escape til now"

"Wait a minute, escape?"

"Oh yes he trapped me in a ditch and left me stranded. I thought I was a gonner until a man threw a rope down to me and saved me." Wait a minute...

"A man? Do you remember what he looks like?"

"Um well, he had brown hair and a black cloak but that's all I saw. He ran off before I could thank him"

"I believe that's the man that saved me just the other day from these two men trying to--" she shivered at the thought of what those men could've done to her.

"I understand entirely. I have been searching the village for him but I haven't found him yet"

"Well have you tried asking anyone?" He looked at her and face palmed himself saying

"Ugh I'm such an idiot of a Prince" she laughed at the Prince and said

"Well what should it do about my look?" He looked at her with wild eyes, took out scissors and fabric from who knows where and got to work.

"Wow Rhys you have a gift!" The Princess said looking down at herself in wonder.

"Yea I guess I have a knack for this kind of stuff" he paused "I'm not exactly the 'brightest' Prince in the patch" She looked at him in surprise as he continued "I had always ditched my studies for the art of fashion when I turned 15 that's when I realized my passion for fashion"

"Wow. That's great!"

"Don't get me wrong I was and still am into sports and such but I like fashion."

"Well that's nice. Thanks for the....what are these?" She said gesturing to her legs.

"Oh those are what I call jeans"

"Oh I rather like them...and this?" The princess said now gesturing to her upper body.

"That my fair maiden is a t-shirt, also my invention" he paused while looking at her "now just one more touch." He came around her and shoved her into the river. The princess jumped out of the river--which was freezing cold by the way--and tackled the prince and punched him multiple times until she thought he had enough and got up screaming "What was that for?!"

"I had to add the authentic touch!"

"Alright whatever. Let's just go down to the village and try to find our mystery rescuer."

"Ok...I apologize for--"

"Hey! No! Shut up talk about it again and I won't be so merciful. K?"
