Chapter 1 (part 3)

I was sitting on a wooden bench waiting for the bus to arrive. It's was early May, the sun was shining brightly and there was a slight breeze. The bus I was taking wouldn't arrive till 4:00 and the trip would take 1h30min. So... I was probably going to be late, my grandma always freaks out if I'm more 2 minutes late. She has a very wild imagination. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and called my grandma.

-Phone rings -

"Hello, who's this?"

"It's me grandma"

"Oh, how are you sweetie?"

"I'm good, I need to let you know that I won't be able to make it at 5:30."

"What?! Why?!"

"The next bus stop to Fleurs arrives at 4:00"

"Oh...ok"

"I promise I won't die, ok"

"Don't joke like that or you will end up dying". I heard a deep voice from the other end, they were calling my grandma to come outside.

"Who's calling you?" I asked her with a bit of anger in my voice.

"Oh, that's just Leo, he's calling me to help him"

"Who's Leo?" Since when has my grandma been helping out this "Leo".

"Oh come on you know who" she sounded like this man was one of my past lovers (not that I've ever had any.)

"No...I don't know him."

"He's your first friend, his parents used to work at my farm."

"Oh...um I can't remember him."

"Really, how could you not he's such a sweetie" I could tell my grandma has a soft spot for him.

"I don't even remember what he looks like."

"Oh honey once you see him again, you'll remember...trust me" I felt a little uneasy from that comment.

"Oh, the bus is here I gotta go"

"Ok, make sure to come here right after you get off the bus"

"I will, bye"

"Bye, can't wait to see you"

- call ends -

I hopped on the bus and took a seat next to the window, opened my music app and played my favorite song.

and those brown eyes

You're the one I desire" Daniel Caesar

I rested my head against the window and let my mind wander off with the music. I watched the sunset, feeling it's warmth. My eyes began to feel heavy and I drifted off to sleep.

I was running, I was crying, I don't know why. I ran and I ran, I couldn't find my way home. I had no home.

When I woke up the bus hit a bump and my head slammed against the window (The most worse way to be waken up.) I rubbed my head to help the pain go away, I checked my phone for the time and it was 5:27, I'm almost there. I looked up and I was the last person to ride the bus, then the bus stoped. I grabbed my suitcase and got off.

"Be careful it's pretty dark" the bus driver was an old man with pure white hair and aqua blue eyes. He looked like a humble man but his eyes seemed full of regret.

"I'll be fine thank you" I waved him goodbye and he nodded.

"Oh, if you just follow that path it will take you straight to Fleurs." He smiled then waved me goodbye.

The door closed then he drove off. Strange, How did he know where I was headed. I turned to my right and took the path I was directed too, there were no street lights so I turned on my phone flashlight. I walked and walked till I reached a bakery named Fleurs town bakery, I finally made it. I haven't been in this town for so long, but yet I still remember the way to my grandma's. You make a right turn at the bakery, then follow  that rode till you see the flower shop (or Fleurs shop for the town name.) After that you take a left at the Fleurs shop, then follow that rode. When you reach the end of the rode there's my grandmas house. I walked up to the door and knocked. The door flung open and what I saw was magnificent.
