I zoned out during class starring at the ceiling as assignments were past out once the lecture was over. Guessing you need the textbook to find your answers, Most of the students including Yuri had one out going through their three paged packet assignment. As usual if you still need to work on it its homework to be turned in tomorrow. I watch Mr. Ferrari pass his assignment out to everyone and flashes a smile at me as I'm really just an extra hand this week.

I don't really have anything better to do, so I get out of my seat shaking off my right leg falling onto at the start of class and went over to Mr. Ferrari if he needed help with anything.

"Hey uh.. Mr. Ferrari? Do you need an extra hand around the class room at all today? I don't want to bother the class in anyway since I got nothing going on." I ask quietly walking up to his desk.

"Ahh Winter! Yes.. I certainly do. Its great to see you taking initiative. Hmm let's see here.." He looks through his to-do-list as I can call it moving papers around.

"I'll start with organising your desk and cabinets. Noticing from the clustered mess you honestly weren't prepared to get things going today. I can help with that. I don't want a teacher burning themselves out." I say with my perception over his entire work space.

"Yes that is true.. School started up quicky, and You son are mighty perceptive. I'll let you to it giving you what needs to go in what place to clear this mess of mine. Thank you." He nods to me as I take his list of items that needs to be checked over.

First things first his filing cabinets. I used to organise my dad's cabinets so much it became a daily chore which was easy after so long. Officers need a tidy work space likewise. Mr. Ferrari gave me folders of papers he put together separately as I put together his cabinet next to his desk quietly. I forgotten how loud opening things can be as well as closing them. A few minutes pass as that's done.

"I see you've done that before from how quick and handy you were. You help a lot at home with your parents by any chance?" He asks me curiously handing me his last file to put away as I move to his desk doors to put supplies in for him.

"My father specifically. He's an officer of the force. I would help him around his office like a sidekick detective organising his work with where he knows where all his cases are as to what ones that are pinned up and or set out neatly for him by his computer that are important to work on. His cabinets were never a mess with me always fixing them. Its funny that he never caught on till one day he walked in on me cleaning and organizing his office on his busy days leaving stuff around. I may not be a clean freak, but I like clean spaces. He laughed at how quick I was and jumped when he caught me. I was embarrassed that day. I take after my mother from that aspect." I acknowledge to him filling his desk with utensils and books.

"That'll be all for now Winter. Thank you again for the help. You could always help the other students if I can't get to them. You seem to know what to do." He gives me a firm hand shake.

"I'll go see if my desk buddy needs help. Everyone seems to have a partner and the person that sat next me doesn't have one. I'll go ahead and see if I can help her out." I walk back to my seat quietly looking over what everyone else is doing.

"I couldn't help see you struggling over here.. Do you need any help Yuri?" I sat down looking over to where she's at in her work.

"Jeez you scared me." I startled her asking her what just mentioned. "Yes please. I don't have much left to do and I'm on the last page of the packet. I'm having trouble looking for the answers I need." She gives me a troubled look.

"Alright.. Let me see what I can do. History isn't my best subject, but I know its difficult for some people with all the reading. You're on question twenty-five. Huh for doing this alone you work well independently. I can tell from how students around you.. They are not quite cooperative with you. You wouldn't have sat with me otherwise to feel like someone is there for you. I know what that's like. I dealt with it a lot years back. Don't worry I'll break you from that feeling eventually. Once you get around me people will take notice to treat you better. I hold that charm I guess." I look over her question she's stuck on with where she's at in the book.
