I was awaken by a call. I saw who it said. Quantavious. he know I gotta work tonight why the fuck he calling. i answered and he started talking fast and in a panic. "woah slow down bae. what's wrong?" I said trying to understand. he sounded like he was running but running where? "I didn't mean to. I don't know what happened" he said still panicking and panting. "what did you do?!" I yelled getting nervous. "I shot ... I shot...." the phone went dead. what the hell just happened. who did he shoot? why did he have his gun out. where was he? I don't understand.
*QUANTAVIOUS POV*
"Kai! kai??" the phone went dead. damn. I really can't believe what just happened. I swear I didn't mean for any of that to happen. I gotta hide. what if they press charges? I can't get locked up. I got a daughter man damn! I fucked up this time.
I walked down the street trying to calm myself. Every corner I turned there was a cop. I can't stay on these streets. but the old i always went is now the place I'm running from. i kep walking and ended up at my baby mama Yvette's house. I hesitated before knocking. I never just show up. When she answered the door she looked at me funny but let me in.
My baby girl ran into my arms and i kissed her on her cheek. "You're late on child support Q. if you not gone pay at least come see her more." Yvette spoke calmly. Yvette is and I are the same age. She's not like most baby mommas, wild an loud, she's calm unless someone harms Jade , our daughter. I told Jade to go play and turned to look at her mom. "Look you'll get the money and I already told you why I don't take her with me." I explained " then get out the damn buisness ,get off the streets, find a girl treat her right. Have a family. " she said. I got up and walked to her. I grabbed her and calmly said "I need your help" she sighed and nodded for me to continue.
I explained everything that happened. She took loyalty and told me to lay low til she finds out if it was death or just an injury. I nodded ,called put for Jade, and kissed her goodbye.
I want to take her with me but got to get my life together.
