The snow finally stopped at about four in the morning. Holly said she was tired so we stopped for a break. We sat on a bench in a park, and watched the sun rise. Purple clouds scattered the peach sky. I looked at Holly, her cheeks were so rosy. She was out of breath and I saw her eyelids growing heavy.

"Are you hungry? We can get something to eat.", I spoke softly to her.

She glanced up at me, opening her eyes and shaking her head "yes".

"There's a diner over there. When it opens we can get some pancakes or scrambled eggs, if you want."

"I love pancakes.", Holly grinned and let out a laugh.

"I don't get you Holly", I said. "Even when you are so tired you still laugh and be happy."

Holly looked at me puzzled. Her lips were pouted, and she said,"I don't really know, I'm just really happy that we did this I guess."

I started to smile then. Suddenly I hear Holly let out the cutest giggle ever.

"What is it?", I asked.

"Why are YOU smiling, huh mister?", she squealed.

"I don't know Holly I'm just happy to be with you.", her laughter was contagious and she started to make me laugh.

Holly kept laughing until she fell asleep on my shoulder. I decided since Holly was resting I could do a little more thinking on where my mother is. I have so many questions for her. I heard keys jingling. I was suddenly removed from my thoughts, and back to reality. Some one was opening the diner. My stomach grumbled and I sprung up to my aching feet. I lifted Holly up and told her that the diner was open. Her face lit up, she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the restaurant.
