Author's Note: This is a video of Raven on stage at Sindicate.

As I wait my turn to take the stage, I study this being. He is dressed all in black, his shirt unbuttoned from his neck to the bottom of his chest. His hair is long and dark. His eyes are dark as well, one eye is slightly cloudy. He has an unusual scar that runs along the right side of his face. As I look at him, I find myself wanting to know where the scar came from. I shake my head to clear my thoughts. What is wrong with me? I don't find any other beings interesting except for the Devil. He smiles at the fairy that brings his drink and that's when I get a clear view of the sharp fangs behind his lips. "So he's a vampire," I think to myself. No other vampires have caught my interest the way that this particular one has and I've had my fair share of vampires. "Next up on the Sindicate stage, a fan favorite, Lucifer's favorite demon....Raven!" I finish my shot as I hear my name being called to take the stage. I glance at the vampire as I stand up. His eyes meet mine as a grin forms on his lips. I grin back at him as I make my way to the stage. I get to the center of the stage and the lights go out. A spotlight shines on me as the music starts playing. My eyes instantly find his in the dimly lit room. And they never leave his as I start to sing, making sure to hold his attention. "You better run, run, run, come here right now, here right now, here right now, there's only one thing that I wanna feel right now, feel right now...."

The other creatures in Sindicate can't take their eyes off me as I keep mine glued to the vampire's as I sashay on the stage while singing. I can see the small glint of light reflect off the points of the vampire's fangs as he watches me. As the song comes to an end, I find myself hoping that I have caught the vampire's attention like he has mine. I leave the stage and make my way back to my table. When I glance over to where the vampire was sitting, I'm disappointed to find an empty chair. "He must've left," I think to myself with a frown. I turn around to signal for the waitress to bring another drink and I'm face to face with those dark eyes and interesting scar.

For the first time since my creation I am stunned. The vampire is quite beautiful up close. He smiles, exposing his fangs, and holds out his hand. "My name is Glaive. It's a pleasure to meet you, my lady," he says. I smile back and take his hand as I respond, "Raven. Nice to meet you as well." Before I can pull my hand back, he pulls my hand to his lips and places a soft kiss before releasing it. I can sense the tension from some of the other creatures around us as he does this as none of them have ever been brave enough to attempt this kind of interaction with me without me initiating it first. Most know better than to do so.
